If you answer any survey or donate to almost any charity, they will sell or share your information including name and phone number with every other research firm and charity they do business with.  It's sad because those in need of the charity or information end up being labeled in a negative way due to these bothersome exploits.  An example is JDRF and BCBS. Read the fine print.

Callers not in our contact database are required to press a number to complete the call. Since the call did not ring in, the caller was probably a robodialer.

They're a market research firm hired by CMA, the association that administers medicare. They are doing a survey regarding your Medicare and the care you receive. They send a paper copy which is the same survey questionnare. If they hadn't received yours, they do a follow-up call to complete via telephone.

I received the same call, but I'm 38 yrs old. I have medicaid but no medicare.

Follow up survey for NIPSCO Elec./Gas Co.? Ask them to call back next day, no call back.

They call every day including the weekends and at all hours of the day and night. It's starting to get annoying.

I got a call from this number at 8:21 pm saying this is Jason is a Traci around and I go who are you with he was like huh and i go what company are you with and he was like what the heck then hangs up .

Enough! This time I'm speaking up for the callers - telephone survey companies are legitimate & want nothing but your opinions! They are NOT trying to scam you or even sell you something --- and the Do Not Call list DOES NOT APPLY to them OR charities, only to genuine telemarketers. Having said that, you should not give out personal information on the telephone anyway as there ARE so many crooks about that use the telephone as a way to weasel their ways into your life. BUT you CAN give opinions on things like Medicare and local hospitals, zoos, grocery stores, etc., without fear of reprisal or being hooked into some scam --- it IS just your opinions that someone is after, that's all. Please stop lumping legitimate businesses with the crooks --- there are far too many of the crooks out there already, without adding more! And PLEASE learn how the Do Not Call list actually works!!

If only it was always true.  I last received a survey call about our local election and since I was well informed about the issues I really did want to give my opinion.  When the questions started they were asking about ME.  The surveyor knew who I was and what my phone number was and I knew nothing of him.  When I declined any personal questions he thanked me and hung up.  I now know he was getting the demographics necessary for his type of survey but I am still not willing to answer questions about myself.

If you're not giving me anything for my time why should you be allowed to call me?  I consider my time worth at least 20 dollars an hour and as such, if you're not paying me a minimum of one hour for my opinion, then don't call.

I don't believe they have any official association with Medicare.  They're just fishing for info

Didn't get called, I recieved a survey in the mail from my healthcare org with the return envelope addressed to them(thoroughbred research). Decided to look them up before filling it out and now see they run a call center and are rude, so screw them.

BEWARE ... THIS caller tried a new tactic! ... and I almost fell for it. The call came in as 239-673-5213 from Florida. But when the same number called me back IMMEDIATELY it was like second nature to want to answer it. But I didn't. And you shouldn't either.

Received a call from 239-673-5213 at 11:11 a.m. on April 23, 2015. Said was Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. I said, not interested and just hung up. I am on a No Call list; should not be getting these calls.

I just received the 5th call today from this number - once this morning, then at 2:24, 3:02, 3:09, and 3:18.  This is really getting ridiculous!  Caller ID says Thoroughbred Re which I'm thinking is Research.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message - this kind of calling is a form of harassment and has got to stop!

They could ar least leave a message as to who they are instead of a blank hang up. The only way to stop these calls is to discontinue the land line.

Wrong. While they may not have to follow the do not call list, they have to maintain their own do not call list. Once I have asked to not be called they are required to not call me.
