Travis sullivan has harrassed my family and friends, threating to have them arrestted, and have me arressted. when i called back( and *67 then the number) all he would tell me was i would be arresteed if i didnt give him my number so he could call me right back. i told him i dont even know who he is, i asked if he was from a federal or state agency, and he didnt answer, then i asked if he was a debt collector and he said " i dont want your f**kin money, i am sending the warrant out for your arrest, and hung up. he continued to call family and friends. i called the state attorney generals office made a complaint and had a state police investigator work on the case. the number he called from was 832-408-7100.

One of our emplyees got a call from these idiots...said the same thing, they would issue a warrant for his arrest...our emplyee asked to borrow the $ to pay this off.  WCCI said it was a debt from 2008 from Advance America, etc.  They asked him for $545 and it had to wired from Money Gram @ Wal Mart to Northern Resolution Group in Williamsville, NY to a T.K. Larkins...I thought it sounded funny so I told our employee not to pay it and we would request additional documentation since he had no idea about a payday loan...they sent additional documentation that looks like it was made up on a computer...then I searched the web for their address and found all of these complaints...I am so glad we talked him out of paying it.  They called from 202-827-0710.  BE CAREFUL!

I received a call from a Martin Anderson from Fraud and Worthless Check Divison. Called frm a 832-377-3048. They pretty much advised me that they would be sending my case to the State Attorneys Office if i didnt make payment for returned EBT issued by Check N Go by 130pm. I requested for paperwork to be sent either by fax or email and havent received anything as of yet. They dont state company name when answering phone. The company name changed throughout conversation. Wouldnt provide me with payment address. Im glad tht i googled this company because i was flipping out because i was being advised that these charges would be brought against if i didnt come up with the money. These people needed to be caught, its not fair to put such emotional distress on a person...

Thanks to your many posts I was able to avoid being scammed. This is something I found doing a google search on collection laws hope it helps others. It said that collection laws prohibit  •Threats of violence, lawsuit, or arrest. I was called by Weinberg, Cockran, Coulson, and Irwin and was initally more than upset but thanks to words of others and the posts I found I feel confident to stand up to them.

I had recived harrsing call from a chase johnson who stated that i owed check n go money and that if i did not clear this up it would go to the state attorny and i would have a warrent put out for my arresst and that i would half to appear before a juge for felony check fraud so i told him there was no way i could come up with the money that fast  so two weeks later i got anouther phone call from a cindy johnson who stated the same thing so i got scared and sent 937.00 dollars she then stated that i had tweenty day s to come  up with the outher 937.00 dollars she then call me today i told her i did not have the money for it she then said that this was fine and she would just go ahead and process it thru the state attorny again i got scared and was heading down to money gram this money to w.c.c.i when a freind told me dont do it its a fraud i told her that a investagater had looked this wcci up and it is a actual bussniess and that i dont want to get introuble she showed me all your guys story. so if there is anyway you pepole can give me some gudiance  on what to do i would appreciate it. o and the number this cindy ladie called from is1-414-877-2023

My husband got a call today from 262-757-6091. Ladys name was Nancy Irvin. She said we had 2 hrs to moneygram them $1118. Or they would have him arrested. I have called the police department where they said the warrent was based out of. There is nothing there. No warrent at all. I'm glad to say that we didn't send any money. I can not afford to be out of over $1000 dollars. They gave us the name of company as WCCI said it was a lawyers office based in Georgia, yet she was calling from Wisconsin. When I looked up the website on internet and called the number it didn't give the name of the business which every law office would. I certainly hope these idiots get caught.

My family was contacted by Martin anderson for me to call them. the story is the same as a couple of.others. MAtin Anderson was the one calling my family saying that he was part of the fraud checks and tha i needed to contact him. called them was told the same bull that i was going to have 2 charges filed against me if i didn't pay. i spoke with the so called attorney on the case Oliver Winslow said i had 2 hours to come up with the money. They lied about everything. I wish I knew who to contact to have then brought up on charges. They gave me a website www.wccigroup.com funny thing is the number they called me from is in Houston, Tx and the address on. the site is in Georgia.

i too recieved a call from this company on 4/18/2012 claiming i owe them and would be brought up on fraud  charges if i didnt pay the whole about that day by 5pm i told him that was impossible ididnt have that money that day and i never had an account with pnc my husband at the time did he mr roo said well its in my name and i need to pay it well im a good person and dont want any trouble can i make payments he said no pay the whole about or i will be served at my place of employment after i explained my hardship he told me to make 3 payments of 193.50 by moneygram and he wont call mr godfrey he will just put in a  form to stop the proceedings the number he used is512-582-7580.if this was a real company i wouldnt have a problem making payments at all.

I totally agree I just sent these people my last $100 last week and had to scrounge money to get to school because I didnt want to go to jail...then I received another phone call from them today and decided to look into harassment and found this. I was advised by an atty to contact the FBI regarding their fraudulent tactics and not to send them another dime! I thought something was odd about them calling concerning a payday loan taken out 5 years ago but with the threat of 2 years in jail let's just say I was too upset to think but now that my mind is clear these people will definitely not like the outcome of my actions...I think with all of the people affected by their actions there should be enough for a class action suit for harassment and unethical practices..and like the atty said the FBI and state atty general's office are gonna have fun with the fact that they claim they are "a state prosecuting atty". I plan to pursue whatever action I can take against these people as my situation involved some sensitive issues that I havent had to think about in 5 years! These people are completely heartless and honestly I cant wait until they get in trouble, especially the guy who called me! Its bad enough payday loans take advantage of hard working people who are low on cash but then to use extortion methods to get the money back...thats completely ridiculous...they are nothing more than legal bookies!!!!

Hello again! The number I received a phone call from is 832-377-3048...when I looked the place up online it gives a different phone number with a different area code but they knew who I was. I called the federal trade commission you can find their phone number on FTC.gov...the lady took my complaint and said definitely do not send them another dime and tell them I spoke with her and gave me a reference number in case they call back...as far as the money I sent unless there is an actual lawsuit I will not get it back but I hope that this information helps others who may be having the same dilemma...and please contact the FTC bacause the more complaints on this company the better for all of us!

I have recieved calls from a Mike Clark and a Chase Johnson both men sound like the same guy. They say i owe for a payday loan and must send $300 imediatly by moneygram or I will be arrested when I go to work. He says he is working with Wisconsins state attorney. He knows where I work and has many family members phone numbers. I told him I needed to verify they were ligit he didnt want me to call anyone but I did the states attorneys office who told me they would never work with debt collectors same with the milwaukee police, this is a scam. They called me from two numbers 216_282_0161 & 330_230_7686.
