I had that same thing just happen... there was a pause after I had answered, and a response from a female voice with "goodbye".

I'm thinking of next time that number pops up on my caller ID, I'm going to answer it like a police station and see what happens... maybe it'll get them to stop calling in the future.

I just got this call too.  The middle eastern buy didn't know how to pronounce my last name (which is a very easy name of only three syllables) I told him if he couldn't pronounce my name then he didn't know me and could go.... well, you understand.  :)

I get a call every week from this number.  Today they wanted to give me money back.

We are getting the same call from the same foreign accent (sounded female).

Le même chose pour moi. On indiquait que j'avais un problème avec mon ordinateur. Quand j'ai posé des questions à savoir de quel endroit on me contactait on a dit Toronto. On a même prétendu transférer la ligne à un superviseur.. Au moment ou j'ai indiqué que si problème sur mon ordinateur je verrais mon tech on m'a répondu allez devant votre ordi et on va vous résoudre ce problème. J'ai demandé si un préposé parlait français.. réponse NON. Trouvant le tout très particulier j'ai mis fin à la conversation. Ils ont esayé de me rappeler en deux occasions.

I just got a call from this number a little while ago. Middle Eastern accent- said my PC was infected. I asked what company is he calling from- he said microsoft- I asked for his name- He said Jack Wilson (yeah right). I called microsoft- they said they do not call customers unless we already called them first about an issue, and we're given a case#.

EXhausted from this number calling all hours of the night. Needs to stop.

I think we are chasing the wrong people. These foreigners would not have our numbers if the phone company had not sold them an digital copy of everyone on their customer list. Unfortunately, if you contact your provider, they will of course deny that they sell numbers, but how else could these scammers get numbers all over north america for their computer to call?

Somebody keeps calling from that number. We  have call display and never answer the phone if we do not recognize the number. Tonight they tried a different tactic they kept ringing until I answered. A very persistant man ask for a Mr. so and so. Told him he had the wrong number. He insisted that he wanted to to talk to me. He could hardly speak English and I told him that I could not understand a word of what he was saying and to stop calling my number, then I hung up on him.

called back the number.  I got this message recording over and over again.

Whatever.  I don't know what they're talking about.

Called several time stating he was with Dell Computers. A few other times the same idiot mentioned Microsoft. These same poor ole stupid fools call at least 4-6 times per day. They don't understand what simple English is when it comes to "I don't use a computer!

1) Grabbed the marine air horn from my Jeep kit.
2) Waited for them to call back.
3) Said "Yes this is Mr. ******"
4) Waited for them to start their script...
5) Air horn blast.
6) 'nuff said.

I just got a call from 253-802-0308 when I answered there was none. Please tell me how we can stop these numbers. This is insane that is two  different numbers now in the last two days...

this number called me 3 times and im tired of them calling. they call about my pc and stuff like that.

I just had one from an east Indian man telling me that my computer was infected.  He told me that he would help me find these errors.  Then he was going to connect me to a Microsoft tech.  I then responded if I need to talk to a Microsoft tech, please give me him number and I will call him.........The man promptly THIS IS A SCAM FOR SURE!!!!!

He Promptly hung up the phone!!!

I just recieved a call from this number. They really think we are idiots don't they? We ll he's not outsmarting me. I asked him what my address was, or what the computers operator was. He couldn't answer those question, so, bye bye
