It said Out of Area and I block all such calls.  I think they called back on another number, but that was also blocked.

I just had the unassigned number call me it was a man with a heavy India accent rambling something about my computer and me needing to follow his directions so my computer doesn't crash.....I hung up on him! He never really identified himself other than his name that I could not even pronounce or spell....DEFINITELY COULD SMELL A SCAM!

The usual scam, dumb DP with heavy accent claiming to be with Microsoft. Told him about sex and travel and hung up!

This number continues to call my house saying that they are from Microsoft Windows. They insist that my computer is contaminated with a serious Trojan virus and they persistently attempt to push me into buying the AVG Internet security package. My best friends son is computer savvy and he told me that avg is worthless, so why would I waste my precious money on something that is worthless? Someone needs to prosecute these morons quickly before someone falls for their nonsense.

Got the call from 253-802-0308 and the fool told me I had a problem with 'My Windows'. Funny thing is I don't use Windows.....I use a Mac only......so I knew it was a scam. If you get calls from this number it is because some one you know has fallen for the scam and you phone number was found on the scammed person's computer. They figure if some one was stupid enough to fall for the scam their friends must be stupid too. I blocked 253-802-0308 permanently so they can't call anymore.

I am getting calls from this # with just crackling noise and a hangup.  Earlier I did get one from a guy claiming he was calling from MS and there was a problem with me computer, and he asked me to enter a series on my keyboard which I think would have given them access to my computer.  How do you stop them?

Crazy woman left voice mail "Hello, hello, hello"   Normally I see number &pick up and hang up to stop ringing. But this time I was out. What a looney not to know when she's talking to a recording that says "We can't come to the phone. Please leave your message."

this Indian guy called me claiming to be from Windows, my computer is infected. I asked him 'where are you?' and he said his name is David he is in CA. I said 'i know your name is not David and you're not in CA'. I told him I have Trend Micro installed and my PC is not infected. he basically hung up.
This is the second time they called, the first time from a different ph.#.

He called last night, he sounds like he is from india man it was funny he told me my pc needed help( how did he know!)  just wish i could call and bother him like he did me!

Someone please do something about this crap. It is amazing how long these guys have been doing this without action. Claiming to be Microsoft and to go to microsoftssl.net and download  some bull program that will do the damage they are claiming to be protecting us from. Stealing bank information and crashing computers that is some virus I got here. What a fail

He'not calling from Auburn. Washington. He is most likely calling from a foreign country. So save your time and forget about it.

Same thing as everyone else. I just hung up on the india speeking guy. I am going to block the number. Said he was from WIndows Microsoft and that my computer had downloaded some bad software.

Ahh, from *Computer Maintenance Company* and my computer license number is sending them a message that I am downloading virus "and stuff" (love that technical term).  Well, after, I got him to say what the computer license is, yeah I know he made it up, I couldn't take it anymore and told him I knew it was a scam, he argued with me about that, and I am now going to have to report this number, he's still arguing with me...  I hung up!

Wow, this scam has been going on for a long time and I never heard of it before.  I just got a call today from 253-802-0308 Auburn, WA.  First I talked to a woman and then the senior tech expert. They said there was a problem with my Windows Computer. They had me look at the Event Viewer > Custom Views > Administrative Events. I told him there were 16,000 events and he told me how bad that was for my computer. He wanted me to go to www.teamviewer.com but I didn't do it.  It seems fishy. I told him to give me his number and I will call him back when I wanted to do it. He said his name was Sam (he didn't sound like a Sam) and his number is 209-920-8383.  I asked him how much it cost and he said the scanning is free, but fixing cost money based on the problems found.
