Received call from 301-762-6650 at 18:35 today. Answered and phone clicked rang and went dead.

Keep calling and won't leave a msg.

Called but didn't leave message.  I love this website!

I've received numerous calls from this number over the past few months and found it alarming since the Caller ID says "Police Protection."  I finally decided to research it and found this site.  Now I know to never answer this call.

These people continue to call fairly often although we have told them we are not interested and never respond to telephone solicitations (too many frauds there).

Called at 6:25 pm.
I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.
We should call and bug them...

This number called me many times yesterday - I am not wasting my time with them!

Calle while no one was home but I have told them in the past that I did not want any more calls from them.

He said he was collecting for "fallen policemen and firefighters."  When I questioned him further he got very defensive and said "We are a nonprofit organization.  All of our proceeds go to fallen policemen and firefighter families." Then he said "Yes, whatever" as a response to something else I said and then I hung up.

caller from 301-762-6650 at 5:49 PM.  Phone was ringing when I picked up.  I said hello, call disconnected.

Rec'd call 12:48pm.  When I picked up, I heard ringing.  Glad to see this website!

Received a call this evening.  I answered the phone and it rang and then went dead.  I decided to research and came across this website.  Thanks to all who have contributed.  What a great asset!!

Just got this hang up call too. So glad I found this site. I'm going to block that number if possible.

The phone service (Verizon) doesn't allow blocking of this number.

I picked up the phone and heard dialing, then nothing.  Hung up.

I received an extremely rude call from this number around 7:00 PM this evening - 5/14/07.

They have been calling here regularly but not leaving messages.

I had answered a call from them about a month ago, they asked for my wife (by the wrong name) and when I said my wife was not available the man said he would call her back later.

Tonight I said I noticed they'd been calling a lot and asked who they were. He said something about raising money for the police, and that my wife had donated last year and could he send us the materials for a donation this year.

I've been getting suspicious, so I very politely answered that we not in a position to donate and were limiting our charitable contributions this year.

At this point he screamed in my ear "I'm not asking you!!!!" and slammed down the phone. He yelled loud enough to actually hurt my ear.

I will be reporting this to the local police, and to consumer protection.

Received call at 7:49.  I asked for information in writing and caller said if I didn't commit to a donation over the phone he would not send anything in writing and then hung up.

Call today and asked my daughter if her parents were home and did not want to leave a message.

Called today at 12:33. Answering machine picked up and what it recorded is not repeatable due to foul language and someone that was clearly not paying any attention to the call.
