I have had 14 calls the past 4 days.  I just filed a complaint with Maryland Attorney General as suggested.  Thanks to all for the information posted. This has got to stop!  I have never answered the call, so I don't know the talking pitch

I have just recieved my last call from 1-301-882-9986. After recieving several calls from them I reported them to the FCC. But what guarantees no more calls from them is I called tmobile and had them added to my blocked list. Now they cant caqll me no more, but it will cost them money to hear that their call has been blocked

A Travis called me from this number 301-882-9986.  He told me he was there to "help me refinance my house".  He jumped right to the chase and asked for my account number.  I ask to speak to his supervisor.  He asked "about what".  I told him I was on the "do not call list" and I wanted him to stop calling.  He told me that "my bank" had given him this information, so I asked "what bank it that" to which he said "Chase Manhatten".  I told him that I did not allow MY bank to give out 3 party information and that I didn't bank with Chase.  He told me they could give him the information and there wasn't anything I could do about it and hung up on me.  I then reported the phone number and his name to the do not call list.  I still can't understand after all the time this number is still in use and them try to defraud people.... Pull the plug MaBell!

Looks like the same M.O. with all of us.  Constant calling, never removes you even when you request & hanging up whenever someone actually confronts a real person (HOW RUDE!!!!).  There was an earlier post with a website to complain to the national do not call people.  Here it is again: https://complaints.donotcall.gov - select file a complaint.  If you're not on the list you should add your number and if you are on the National Do Not Call list, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE file a complaint.  Maybe they'll get tired of hearing all of us complain & be able to STOP THE MADNESS!!!!

Call from 301-882-9986, telling me to press "1" to begin my new rate.

My recording from this number was for car insurance. As to not being able to call this number back, it is either VOIP or an outgoing only line.

They have been calling multiple times every day. I clicked the "2" or "3" button to get removed from the list. I try to get a live person but sometimes they don't answer. They even change up the message. Once he told me he could lower my interest rate if i owed more than $1000, the next day it changed to $4000.

Is it possible to file a law suit for harassment against this company???

I'm on the National Do not call list too.  When I told the rep to remove my name from their calling list she hung up on me. If I get called again I'm gonna go off.  How do you go about reporting them?

Another call from 301 882 9986 today.--when I didn't answer, no message was left on my answering machine. I refuse to answer any calls when I do not recognize the caller's name or phone number---nor do I attempt to return their calls especially when no message is left!!

This number keeps calling 2 to 3 times a week but never leaves a message.  I tried to look up the number to see if it was a business but couldn't find anything in the yellow pages.

they called me several times a week saying they will lower my credit card rates. It was scary to find out they actually have REAL information about my credit cards rates!! How is this posible???????????????

Have received several calls from 301-882-9986. Have not responded to their calls, just hung up. Since my bank has been taken over by another bank, I called my credit card people tonight to see if they were connected to the phone # and they said NO. Suggested I google the phone # to see what info came up. I thought it was a scam and lo and behold! IT IS!!! How do they get our phone numbers when we are on the national and state DO NOT CALL REGISTRY? Do we need to contact the FCC, the National DO NOT CALL REGISTRY?

Got a call from this number.  I let the answering machine pick up and they did not leave a message.

I thought that it's illegal to call numbers that are registered on the national "DO NOT CALL LIST".

I've gotten this call several times.  Computer generated call with an operator if you press the button for refinancing credit card debt.  When I tell them that I've gotten numerous calls from them and have tried to get off their list by pressing the appropriate button and that I'm on a "do not call list" they hang up on me but continue to call.

Probably wouldn't hear an earfull if they do to you what they do to me...they hang up when I try to give them an earful! Sick and tired of this. I just filed the FCC form but doubt that will do much good anytime soon.

I just got a call from these people and let the answering machine take it.  They left no info or number to return the call, so I just blocked them from ever calling my digital phone again. Great things these caller ID and answering machines.

They hang up when I answer. I am tired of them calling 3 -5 times a day. Please stop them.

Recorded message about interest rates -- obviously a scam because credit card companies compete, they do not work together. Scary that some folks might respond.  I'm on 'no call' list and the calls keep coming. If unanswered, they do not leave a message.
