- SarahA dumb lady with obvious noise of people on phones calling and saying my hubby's name completely butchered. I told the b that she has the wrong number. Wish they would all disappear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scammers for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Fed UpThese guys are like the sewer line... No matter what you do, they keep draining...
So, I'm fighting back. Press 1, wait until the agent gets one. Call them every dirty name you can think of.. They deserve it.
I just order my Boat Air Horn. The next time, the agent will get a shot of my Air Horn on their headset.
You can stop them... So you mind as will enjoy it, by telling them to Fxxx off.- Caller: Microsoft

- ScammersThese clowns called me and tried to get me to type "event viewer" in to my start box on my machine What this brings up is all the different events that your machine has had since the last start up, and they're broken down into a variety of types, like "security" which is the one he'll most likely have you click on. It'll will show you all sorts of errors, which he'll describe as "virus's" and then ask you to type in a certain web page to go to. From there a little box will pop up that he wants you to click yes on. That's so they can gain control of your computer. DON'T EVER LET THEM TALK YOU IN TO THIS!!!. Because from there they have complete control of you machine and can steal passwords, bank account numbers, all sorts of things that you hold close to your vest and never let anyone get at. They can install malware, virus's all sorts of nasty bugs and things that you most likely have a program or two installed to keep from getting in the first place, those they will un-install before your very eyes and since they have control of your machine, there's very little you can do at this point.
The point I'm trying to make is THIS IS ALL BOGUS. Microsoft will never call you and say they're from "security" or some other important sounding department. In fact, Microsoft will never call you to begin with. If anything, they'll email you and it's best to call their published number and see if that's even a real (not bogus) email.
Just a heads up from a geek who's been around the block a couple of times with these scammers and knows what they're up to.- Caller: "name not found"

- Tom| 1 replyCaller said there were working for Windows IT support. Said that I was having a lot of computer problems. They wanted me to give them control of my computer so they could fix my computer. Appeared to me to be a scam. I terminated the call. Not sure that Microsoft has people in Cheyenne WY doing this type of work.
- Caller: Microsoft??
- Mike-in-MD replies to TomMicrosoft has no one anywhere doing cold calls about computer problems. There are warnings about this scam on their website. All calls of this nature are nothing but a scam to gain access to your computer to install ransomware, malware and/or steal personal information to steal your identity, max out your credit cards and drain your bank accounts.
- SandraHThese stupid people called my house 3 times today. You think they would get the hint.

- Tired of TelemarketersI am on the National Do Not Call List. I answered the phone shortly after noon and a man who introduced himself as Ryan said he was from IT Support. He said they were receiving errors from my home computer with Microsoft Windows. I challenged him that Microsoft does not have its representatives call customers with problems. His accent was heavy and Indian. He said he was not from Microsoft and reiterated his sales pitch. I told him that it sounded like a scam and then I suggested that our State Attorney General might be interested in his activity. At this point the frustrated scammer suggested that he could send a technician out to assault me. I have placed the number on my call block list and reported the incident to the Federal Trade Commission website.

- Ed in FloridaI got a similar scam call from this number [(307) 243-5143]. When the guy (same Pakistani/Indian accent) said he was from the Windows technical department calling about a problem with my computer, I said "I don't think so. Try again." He then told me to "F*&k off!!" and slammed down the receiver. I reported it to my local sheriff's office together with the phone number.
- Caller: Unknown.
- Sue SimonThey told me my computer needed Windows repair. I said everything was OK with my computer. They said if I didn't fix my computer they were going to SHUT IT DOWN. I said he had no authority to shut down my computer, and that's when he got aggressive. I told him I was going to REPORT him. He said fine, because I'm going to report you. I hung up.

- Dudley DoorightI just got a call from this same number. We get similar calls all the time from numbers we do not know. There was a pause after I answered, and I started talking really loudly, saying "Hello, hello, hello." Finally the call connected, and a man with a strong Indian/foreign accent said, "How are you doing today?" I asked him if he would like to place an order. He didn't understand. I asked him if he would like to order some Kung Pow Chicken. He said, "Yes I would like the chicken." And then I hung up on him. [***] scam/prank callers. I hate them.

- Tired of callsI received a call tonight from this number. It was Steve Parker from Microsoft. Steve had a very heavy accent, possibly from India. He stated my computer was having serious problems. I said my computer is working just fine. He said the computer was sending error messages and it was part of his job to call me. I already knew about the scam so I played along for a few minutes and then hung up. The caller ID said Wyoming Call.
