Just got another call from this number.  I let answering machine pick up and they left no message, but I could hear someone breathing heavily before they hung up...LOL.  Must be getting frustrated.  I am not likely to play nice if I do answer, as my job was outsourced to India, so if they are from India, then they better never hope that I do answer the phone.....I will blow off steam.

I received a call previously and I blocked the number - they called back today and the phone rang once. and disconnected.  The same number called back 10 seconds later, same result - rang once & disconnected.

The caller ID - Name Not Found - was listed on the phone display.    I have no idea why they called, but can only assume it was a scam.

I received the same call twice now.  It is a guy with a strong accent and is a scam. He has called before and once I stated my computer was monitored by an IT professional through work he hung up.  This guy was much more daring, he did not hang up when I stated I have antispyware, managed through work.  He proceeded to give me a number and I stopped him and asked some questions about why he believes I have issues with Windows and how he can see it.  I told him every time you call and I call back the number says it has been disconnected or all lines are busy.  He then disconnected me. I wanted to see how long I could keep him on the line for taking up my time on a holiday!

Claims to be "Charter operator services."  Charter says it is not.  Usually a robocall hangup.  CID is blank or garbage.

Receivied several calls so far this month and I do not answer.  These guys must change their numbers frequently as I have been getting these types of calls (something wrong with your computer) for a couple of years now.  Will now block this number until they change it again.

Some one called from (Unknown) accent, company said he wanted control of my computer to fix problems. He had a heavy accent, India maybe. Of course I told him nothing. NEVER tell a stranger who calls out of the blue anything. Don't even acknowledge your name.

Read enough posts regarding this phone number and I don't need to read anymore. Thought I would reply to your post hoping that others will read and take heed. Got all call from this number this morning. Same scam. Wife works for phone company so I asked her to investigate number. It is owned by Constant Communications, Wyoming.  I would suggest that anyone that was or has been threatened to contact FBI and FCC to file a criminal complaint,

Repeated calls from someone with a heavy Indian accent about problems with my windows computer

We had this happen today, and my husband told them that he knew they where a scam, and was contacting the police.  The guy rang back twice more, each time using foul language and threatening me (his wife) with obscene acts.  Very disturbing.  I don't know how you feel safe after someone like that rungs your private home.

I kept them on the phone for 47 minutes while they tried to get me to log on to their web page... honestly, it was the most fun I've had all day.  "Bobby" from Microsoft Tech Support swore at me in Hindi on more than two occasions.  Just getting them to phonetically spell out the  URL was worth it.  "Not dot, DOT!"...  The longer we keep them on the phone, the less time they have to call other people.  I LOVE being self-employed.

Initially received a call from the same number and with the same story line about representing Microsoft.  I ased for his name and a number to call him back. A different person at a differnt area code picked up.  I tried to block future calls but they are now (3 wks later) calling again but showing up as VO7020150120020, and 307 243 5143. What a pain!

Claimed to be IT calling about my computer. Sorry I even answered the phone. Hung up as soon as she said IT, my computer and her name is Bianca. Hate these calls.

I got  the same as other people my computer call them about a virus. This is the same group that answers for Roku and Majicjack tech tell you the computer and wireless system has a virus. It's all a scam

Was woke up from a dead sleep at 5:46am from (307)459-4012. When I said hello, I heard "Good Morning" and then call cut off. I called the number back and got the tones for a fax machine. Was super pissed as we work nights and had been asleep for only 2 hours. Telemarketers or who even better not call again or they will get my full anger. How can you stop these people. I have signed the do not call list 3 times. They still call.

If you're able to do without, try shutting down any answering device and letting the phone ring. If it's a landline and you don't risk any emergency calls, either disconnect the line, or shutting off the ringer for peace. On a cell, look for a good call blocking app. You can eliminate more calls by not answering one.
I'm not sure there's an easier way unless you want to spend money on a call blocker (landline), which has been recommended by many. If you answer one call, they now know your number works and they can pass it along to third parties for money. Not giving unknown numbers any kind of answer messes them up along with eventually getting on their nerves. The no call list has no effect on crooks, surveys, political calls, debt collection, or fundraisers.
