Student loan scam

The most unfortunate part is they present themselves as a federal service that is legal. If you ask where they got your number, they hang up immediately. Be carful and avoid

Repeated unsolicited calls. No loan history. Suggestion:  let's all call Sprint carrier in CA ten times each and tie up its service lines until they agree to disconnect this line and not issue another to the spammer.  If the govt won't help us, we can make Sprint pay!!!

That's a good idea! Let's inconvenience the innocent person whose number has quite possibly been spoofed! That'll teach those evil, number-spoofing scammers.

I have been getting a lot of these call’ partly because I just revised my student loan. My logic is that if I just did that: then why would I do it again with some unknown 3 party. Why are they calling my cell phone?

Got tired of these calls so I answered it. It's a female recording selling Health Insurance. First question-are you looking for affordable health insurance? I said No. recording said thanks and disconnected.

Reed, sound like you are one of the scammer to write up something like that. Tell them, I or we will never answer from someone we don't know. Plus, I would never deal with your buddies.

Did not pick up, know it is the student loan scam.

I see all these comments about this being for student loans. I don't answer numbers I don't know. They never leave a message. This is not the first call I've looked up (not all from this number) that said it was about student loans. I've never had a student loan. I never even went to college. I have a call blocker on my cellphone but obviously it's not doing it's job...

I get these student loan calls at least 2 to 3 tines a week. Every time I block the number a new one pops up, this being the latest one. Press1 to be removed never works.

Called my cell phone around the end of March, did not leave a message, number now states that it has been changed with no new forwarding number.  Looks like the spammers have spoofed another number.
