Jay I keep getting calls all day every day for the past few days from this number. I never answer numbers I don't recognize, but they never leave messages. I looked up the number the first time they called a few days ago and figured out that they're scammers trying to phish for private info by claiming to be from Microsoft, so I figured I'd just ignore any more calls. But I have now lost count of how many times they've called me and I'm seriously annoyed. Plus I'm on the do not call registry... So earlier today, they called and I picked up and immediately started to say, "Stop calling this number or I will be reporting you to the FTC." But they hung up before I could finish. I had hoped that was the end of it, but they called again just a few minutes ago. When I answered and started to repeat the same statement, I was interrupted by hold music, so I waited a few seconds and a female cane in the line with simply "hello?" that's it. So I proceeded, "Yeah, I knew you're a scammer so STOP CALLING ME OR I WILL BE REPORTING YOU TO THE FTC." So this lady responds with, "No I will not." AND HUNG UP ON ME!!! I then tried to file a complaint through the FTC's do not call registry website, but unfortunately I wasn't able to because the area code 311 does not exist. Upon further research, the 311 area code is a fictitious area code used by scammers to hide where they are really calling from and apparently you can't call the number back because DUH it doesn't exist. They use some sort of software that allows them to create a fake phone number to show up on called ID, heck I've heard of scammers using the phone number they're calling to confuse the person they're calling or even trick people into believing they're the phone company. Any way, I will figure out a way to report this number somehow. But in the meantime, I've added this number to my contacts and have all calls being forwarded to voicemail from now on so that I don't have to deal with it anymore I guess.

I sent in my FAFSA and two days later I am getting these weird calls about student loans.  Do not answer or give out phone number.

Been getting frequent calls from the number. No one said anything, just hold the phone. When I called it back that number is not in service.

Calls a couple times a day. Leaves no message. I finally decided to answer it. It's a female computer voice. It said "Thank You And Goodbye."

Keep calling about student loans,  I do not answer it.

As a rule I do not answer unknown area code numbers, because of so much identity theft that exist.   If its regarding student loans, I am still in school, plus I live in the est time zone.  So why is someone calling me at 10:14pm to sell me something?

Has called multiple times per day re: student loan forgiveness.  Scam.

Bogus number

Called repeatedly in the last 2 week's. No one ever responds when I  answer and no voicemail is left when I miss the call.

Someone from this number has been calling my phone number for the past two days and when I answer they hang up.

They call my work about 10 times a day

Called and hangs up the moment you answer/

called 12 times today did not answer any.

Calls twice a day saying that they are based in California are affiliated with the student loan forgiveness plan and things have changed

They just keep calling.  Two weeks now and call until 10 pm.  No one ever speaks but I have told them I am calling authorities.  I am on do not call registry to no avail.

This number calls many times a day

After 2 - 3 calls daily for over a week, I finally answered, telling them I have reported them for suspected terrorist activities. Have not called since.

Call over10  times and one day when I finally answered they said they were from the department of education and wanted to consolidate my student loans they sent me an email and the email was to reset my password  TOTAL SCAM TO GET PERSONAL INFO
