I am in the same situation as you are. I took out a payday loan from Ace Payday Advances 3 year ago and now they have been calling my references saying that I have a warrant for my arrest. I called Ace to see how much I owe them and they said, $450. But when I contacted Mr. Darden he said $3,600. I think this is a scam. I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and they are not listed as a business......scam!!!!!!!

It's sad what how low some people will go for money.  James Clark, there is a warrant out for "your" arrest.  Do not call me anymore.  "Good luck" to YOU!  Sucker.

I got a call from an "Investiagator Michael Wells" 1 312 239 0201 X 116 stating I went into a cash loan place in 2008 and did not pay back the 230.00 I owed and now with interest I owe 1800.00...DONT LET THEM SCARE YOU.  They ended up draining my bank account which I have changed everything now. Michael Wells claims to be an Investiagator but is ONLY a debt collector. He stated he had the DA on the other line and IF I was lucky they would work out a deal so they would not send a warrant out...These collectors DO NOT talk to the DA or anybody else..They scan people out of tons of money...TRUST ME....If you have been scanned from them I encourge you to file with the BBB, The Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Protective Agency...This will help to shut this company down.  They have many locations and will never give an address. I will do whatever I can to warn anyone about this company

This people had tried to get in touch with me more than a year ago.  At that time they had called a friend of mine telling them they were looking for me for a debt I had with them and that if I didn't get in touch with them they would issue a warrant for my arrest.  Anyways, I call them and they are just a collection agency that when they call they introduce themselves as investigators and give you a case number and make it seem like a big deal that if you don't pay them they will arrest you.  They asked me for my account information and wanted to collect without explaining what it was or even sending me written proof of who they were and what they wanted.  After that I just ignored their phone calls and eventually stopped calling and never arrested me.  Today 5/3/2011, they are trying to get in touch with me again, calling the same friend they had called back then and not happy with that called a second friend of mine.  They told my first friend pretty much the same thing the told him way back when they had called, they said that i needed to pay or i would be arrested.  The second friend was told that I had to get in touch with them and pay otherwise HE would have to pay.

These ppl called me at my job & stated tht I owed thm for a payday loan I got bck n July 2008 & said they had a warren for my arrest if I didn't pay 1000 for a 400 loan I got bck thn. Well I foolishly listened thinkin it was legit & gave thm my card number. The lady investigator bryant tld me to call her back at ths 312# to let her knw to proceed wit takin the money off my debit card...well I called for 2 dayz straight & left several messages & no response...well I had talked to one of my friends & he suggested I Google the info I had on thm & ran across ths page...PRAISE JESUS he opened my eyes to see ths. Soon as I read all the complaints I went & withdrew all my money & cancelled my card...she called bck 2 days later asking y the money was not there & o explained to her y...she got rude wit me & said she was having a good day till I called & Hung up on me..I called bck tryin to tlk to her but she wasn't tryin to hear me...I thn called around to c if any payday loan compAny had heard of these ppl & they did not...I thn called bck just to get the name of the company I owed & she put me on the phne wit sum darden guy.....oh boy was he nasty wit me....all I said was ok to everything he was saying & he Hung up on me as well...I thn called the sheriff dept to c if I had any warrants & they filed a report & called the ppl for his self....he could not rule out it being a scam but I refuse to pay my hard earned money being a single mother of 3 to anyone not proving to b who they say they r...and if one of thm r reading ths...as the police officer tld me to say " hey do Wut u gotta do cuz u won't get Wut few dollars I do hve" THESE PPL R SCAMS & THEY NEED TO B SHUT DWN...DON'T FALL FOR IT!! I received a call from an invesigator Barnes from william scott and associates last week. She said that I had 48 hours to return her call or else I would have a warrant for my arrest. When I called her back three days later she said that I owed a payday loan from 2008 and wanted me to pay 900 plus dollars. She then said that i f I did not pay that amount that ace check advance would be dropping a warrant for my arrest! It scared the crap out of me! I was crying on the phone, I don't have that kind of money! Then she said that she would put me on hold and contact the company I made the check fraud to and try to get them to put a hold on the warrent. I was on hold for 10 minutes she finally got back on the phone and said that she was able to get the warrant held and that she even got the amount knocked down by 200 so I would only have to pay 748 dollars instead of the 948. I agreed to set up a payment for this Friday. For them to take out 252.00. I am glad I found this because I will not be calling back mrs. Barnes to take any funds from my account. She also said that if I did not pay her on Friday that I will be picked up by the sherrifs. And that she has been on the phone plenty of times with parents when the sherrif arrives and all she can hear is kids in the back ground screaming and crying because there parent is going to jail. I am not going toto give this lady my bank info, I am going to contact my legal aid service through my job and have them contact her...how rude and mean of these people, how do they sleep at night. I should have rwalized because I just pulled my credit report about a week prior!

I have recieved multiple phone calls from this number (312-239-0201).  Senior Investigator Ace Rodgers has a warrant for a person he claims is a family member.  The person is not a family member nor do I have any relatives in the state of the PAYDAY Loan that was not repaid.  Fuuny, Ace Rodgers and ACE Payday Loan.  How does not think this is a scam.  If I do not give him my debit card number right now they are on their way to arrest this poor person.

If you live in the state of Virginia the sherrif does not come to arrest you. Please everyone read the better business reviews this company is not registered at all. Apply for your credit history on line its free once a year the loan places and addresses are on there so you can send your money directly to the payday loan company not these money grabbing idiots who would threaten there own grandmother. Let's all fight to stop these companies who threaten us.

I got a call this morning from an investigator named Monica Taylor, she left me a message saying that I was under investigation for Check Fraud and to call her back at 312-239-0201, so I did. I talked with her and then as she was telling me what was going on, as I was about to set up a payment arrangement, she said that some Attorney had to speak with me. I can't remember the guys name, but we talked for a bit and he told me that Pay Day911 was filing charges on me for Check Fraud, Theft by Deception and 1 other charge and that if I didn't pay atleast 30% of the loan($418 is what he requested today), that my Drivers License would be suspended because they would consider me a flight risk, and that warrants would be issued for my arrest. I'm not going to lie, I was scared to death. So I told him I would try and see what i could do. He said that he is going to try and get the warrants on hold, and the motion to suspend my DL be reversed. He even put me on hold saying that he was trying to contact the prosecutor on my case. He got back on and said the Prosecutor was in court at the moment but he had some contacts down at the local court house and could get it put on hold until Next Tuesday, which is when I would have the money.

He had all of my info correct( my name, ssn, and DL number) so I called around to see if I could borrow money from friends, luckily I googled the number and found this site. Things weren't sitting right with me because first off your DL can't be suspended for Check Fraud, Theft or anything of that nature. Also, you can't be under investigation for check fraud, they either arrest you or the company has to sue you to get the money back.

I don't plan on paying them any money, but I'm going to call them back and see if I can get an address for them.

Well, i tried to call them back, and the woman got very angry that I asked for the address. I told her that I wanted to bring the money down to her, and she cussed me out, and said that it would be illegal for her to take the money....but yet they want my credit card number, it didn't make sense.

she even told me that she was saved, santified, and holly ghost filled lol....When I asked to speak to the Attorney, she said he wasn't in the office, but when I asked if we could lower the debt she said that she had to go and speak to the attorney and placed me on hold. She came back a few minutes later and told me that she could lower the debt to $795, I again asked to speak to the Attorney and she said he is not located in that branch, but located in Atlanta. When I told her that I felt like my chain was being pulled and that I was being scammed, she got very very upset with me and cussed me out again, and then hung up on me.

i took out a loan with ace cash express in sept of 2008 a lady from this number name ms saunders keep calling me saying i i dont pay them 1500 dollars they were going to have a warrant out for my aresst. i cant pay them anything im in so much debt  and her ext is 117 why dont they just garnish my wages like the other loan companys did i think this is a scam and i work for a casino and if i have a warrant out for my arrest then i would lose my job . can anyone help me and i live in st louis mo

It is a collection agency. Debts are sold off to this company and they are trying to collect. I wish people would include relevant information in their posts, rather than just their story.

They called me from the 757-337-3306 but requested I return the call to the 312-239-0201 number. I haven't had a checking account in several years, so was instantly curious what the deal was with this agency. I Googled, did some reading, did some digging.

Block the number, there are tools and apps for doing so. Don't give them any money. There isn't a single positive thing about this company anywhere. Most information suggests they don't follow legal business practices.

I just recently received a call from 866-533-1894.. woman introduced herself and said that a Claim was filed by a financial institution for attempted internet fraud and could be filed with the magistrates office.  Frantic.. I called back and left my cell phone number... then went on line and pulled my credit report thinking someone may have stolen my identity... after a very long and disturbing weekend... I had a friend in a "very high place" do a reverse search on the number and it was Williams, Scott and Assoc.    I tried calling back and was on hold for 25 mins... she then called me back with a "case" number.....then another call came in from a New York line... unlisted... didn't answer and was told to not return their calls.  They are fraudlent debt collectors.   Thing is... if everyone knows about these people and they are making false statements.. leaving detailed messages... identifying themselves.. why hasn't anyone shut them down?   I was also told they have locations all over the place.  So not only are they calling stating debt.. but now internet fraud.... had me in a tizzy.. but no more.. should all get together and file a class action suit and sue the crap out of them and put them out of business.

I received a voicemail from Kelly Saunders claiming that I was under investigation for "Internet Fraud". The number on the caller ID was a NYC number, but she told me to call 213-239-0201 x 117. I called back and she asked if I wanted to resolve an unpaid debt to Fast Cash Personal loans. I asked why the message said I was being investigated for Internet Fraud and she claimed that I received the loan online. I then asked if she was a debt collector, she said no, she just wanted to help me resolve the debt. I asked if she was a lawyer, and she didn't answer, just wanted me to resolve the debt. I told her that her company needed to send me something in writing with details regarding the alleged debt because this sounded a little fishy and she hung up on me.

I am all for filing a suit against them!! They called me today and they called my brothers house. They were total A$$holes on the phone. I am willing to do whatever it takes to shut these people down!!!
