I've gotten repeat calls from this number recently. I hung up on them at noon. I called back after reading this website and got the DoD voicemail. The same number called me back @2 claiming to be a contract company hired by DoD to do this survey. The voicemail also changed trying to sound more legit.

Got a call from these idiots today...hard to believe that anyone would fall for this thinly-veiled sham of a racket.  Indoscope should be ashamed to be preying on military families.

I received a missed call on my cell phone on 5 Feb 09 at 8:27 pm chicago time. I didn't know the # so I googled it and found this site. Sorry to say if it was DOD they would'nt call after 5:00 pm. Sounds like somethings up to me and it can"t be good.

I just got a call from that number, on my prepaid cell number which is weird because it's not a registered number. I looked it up and found this forum. What the heck is going on?

same as everyone else except for one thing. i reported it to the FBI who investigate fraud. they should have arude awakening.

I missed a call from this number on Friday, February 6 at 11:03 AM.  I called back and I was directed to a voicemail that announced that they were the Department of Defense and said that the mailbox was full.  Honestly, I don't have time to be worried about such things.  It probably came from me giving my number out to people I don't know.  (Another suspicious number I've been bothered with is 580-815-1527 and that was two weeks before)  Face it, people.  Some useless people have nothing better to do than to waste people's time by calling random numbers.  The second time I was doing the online portion of my periodic health assessment and typed in my cell phone number.  So maybe my number is on some database somewhere.  Sure hope not.  Oh well.

For clarification: four hours PRIOR TO getting a call from 312-409-4702, I had inputted my cell phone number online in order to complete my PDA.

I saw this number with Department of Defense on my home phone caller ID on Saturday and again today.  They don't leave a message, so I'm sure it isn't a legitimate call from the DOD.

I also received calls from this number.  Once yesterday as a missed call and then again today.  I had already looked up the information and confronted the woman.  She insisted quite argumentatively that they were affiliated with DOD/TriCare.  I informed her that Major General Granger has posted a notice not to respond to calls from this number.  I then informed her I would be reporting them to the DOD and FBI.  So, guess what- I did.  I notified TriCare's fraud department, our local chain of command, and the FBI at the Kansas City field office.  The agent said he would forward the complaint to the FBIs telephone/internet fraud department.  Hopefully they'll shut these people down.

I got a call today, Saturday. Earlier this week I got a call from another number claiming to be DOD healthcare. They asked if received some conseling treatment! I just asked the woman to mail any info she had. She knew my name and rank. I just told her that I do not engage in telephone surveys. She warned me that I would benifit from the survey. I hung up.

Sunday, another call. They offered to give me some number to vett them but I said no thanks. Supposedly they're some independent survey polling comany?? She offered to put me on thief DO NOT CALL list. It all sounded fishy to me. I got calls at 2000 thurs, 1100 sat & 1200 sun. Let's see if they stop?
