I just called to have my number removed from the list.  Upon asking who they were and how they got my number, I was told my local newspaper (Birmingham, AL) was using them to get in touch with former customers to offer a discounted rate.  The man I spoke with was very helpful and friendly and said my number would be removed as soon as possible.  Thanks to whoever posted the PISA number!

I receive this call several times a day, no idea who would like calls to stop

I saw I had a missed call from this number tonight at 8:27 PM, kind of late for a telemarketer call isn't it?  And this is my cell phone, I thought telemarketers weren't supposed to call cell phones.  Anyway I googled the number and found this site and it makes sense, since I just canceled my subscription to the Houston Chronicle last week, now they are calling trying to get me back.

I just started getting these phone calls and googled the number and found these messages from everyone - THANK YOU!! I called the number you listed for PISA and the woman was very nice and promised to contact their sales department immediately and have my number removed.  THANK YOU!!!

Thank you for whoever found out where this # (314-963-8895) was coming from!!!!!!!!  I sit in School and Important meetings all day and cannot have my phone ringing as much as they were calling!  I called the 314-845-2825 number and they said they were an automated dialing company that randomly dials numbers.  However, they told me my number would be removed in the next 24-48 hours!   Thanks Again

Try calling Pisa Group direct, here is their number:  314-961-6200  I just looked them up on the internet and called.  I am on the Do Not Call list and I have filed a formal complaint against them as well.

This number has called me twice yesterday and twice today and that's on my cell phone. I tried to call it back and got no answer, not even an answering machine. I called the number listed above (314-845-2825)and no one answered it either, I just got a voice mail.

I just called 314-845-2825 and they did take me off of their calling list. I asked who they got my info from and they said my local newspaper as well.

The Ann Arbor News was responsible for giving PISA my cell phone number.  Many thanks to the individual finding out how to get off this horrible call list!

I've been getting several calls a day from this number for the last 2 weeks and I have never subscribed to a newspaper anywhere so I'm not sure how they got my number. I called the other number and had it canceled.

Just got a call from this number, saying The Muskegon Chronicle, which is in Michigan, WTF I am in arizona

Okay.. Im 14 years old... My name is not listed in the phonebook so how did this company get my cell phone number?

THANKYOU! I called and the man was very easy to deal with and will have my number taken off. im in highschool so i cant emphasize how strange it was getting calls during lunch and then having them hang up once i answer

314-963-8895 has called and called. Always a hang up when I answer.
So, I read the other comments and one from Brian said to call the Home Office @ 314-961-6200. I did and a fellow took my number and said they would remove it. I had to tell them, they would see me court if they called again.

Has called the last couple of day around 1:30 no messsages left.....

They are scammers..They just called here about an hour ago. The lady told me she  is with the newspaper in TX. How they have this great special for 8 days and so on. I told her we don't read the paper. So she asked why. I told her we just don't have time. Then she started pushing the Sunday paper. I then told her we work weekends too. So then she told me we can get it for coupons. Yea right what ever.. Then I told her I don't use them. She was not too happy and hung up. lol

Any how, if you have call block just block the number. You don't need to have them in the caller ID to block it. If you don't know how to, just call the phone company or go to their site..

Thank you for that information i called that number and they said they would take me off there list.If your in houston and have the chronicle then thats what it is.I cant believe the houston chronicle would sell your number or give it out to someone..its sad.
