Received call from this number even though I'm on the no call list

Keep recieving phone calls - i live in minneapolis and they are trying to sell me a texas newspaper...  called left messege to take me off their list

I received the same call today. I use an answering machine. Bill collectors and these scammers hate them. They call and when my answering machine comes on they hang up. LOL

Chris I have to admit you are right , if I get a call from someone who is not programmed in my phone that includes long distance numbers , I do not answer. Leave a message and I will call the house phone for free to check the messages. Do not get me started on unknown numbers or number that start off with 000-000-1234 , wtf is that about? Those will never get answered.

I would like to know why the hell are you calling me in Saint Louis MO sell me a Detroit news paper. I do not give a fat rats [***] about what goes on in Detroit. I do not live there. So it is of none of my concern. Post Dispatch, maybe , Detroit news paper , no. When they call I tell them this , oh and I just love the calls from Florida trying to sell me a vacation package to Branson Mo. I say ma'am or sir , why would I wanna go on a vacation to MO , when I already live here. You got anything for Jamaica or St.Lucia. No? Well I did not think so and hang up. They never call back again. Sometimes it's sad that you have to almost get violent with these people to get them to stop calling you. When you should just be able to ask them please stop in a nice way and they do it. They don't , so you have to curse them out. Sad but that's the way of the world.

I've recently started to receive 2-3 calls each day from this number.  About one month ago I signed up for my local paper (Star Tribune in Minnepolis), so I do find it interesting that this company claims to get their info from local newspapers.  Also, I signed up for the newspaper as part of a fundraiser for some high school kids that were raising money for college.  It seemed legit, and I do receive the paper every Sunday, but now I'm starting to wonder.  Anyone else have a similar experience?

These people are slime....I've answered and told them not to call and STILL they call. AND I am registered on the do not call list!

Receiving calls from this number DAILY!  They leave no message.

I answered a call from this number this morning (8:30 am on a Saturday!), the caller knew that I was a weekend subscriber to the AZ republic and offered to give me a 7 day a week subscription for the same price.  When they started asking for my information I ended the call and said I was not interested.  After hanging up I called the AZ republic to see if this was a legitimate group working with them, and found out that they were contracted with then to increase circulation numbers. A little known fact about Newspapers is that they do not make their $ from the price of subscriptions it is all in advertizing costs.  The more newspapers they can show going out the more they can charge their advertisers.  

So yes the AZ republic sold me out to this company, and other marketing companies they say. I asked them to remove my umber form any marketing lists for the future. However, I will probably have to call the number above to get my number out of the Pisa Group system since they already have it.  I found out after my wife woke up that they have called numerous times over the past few weeks.  Urrggg!

I just received a call too.  The gentleman was selling AZ Republic newspaper.  We don't have that delivered and this is a new number and the only one who has had it is the phone company.  What happened to privacy and respecting the individual?  The Do Not Call Registry is great but can not totally ensure your numbers are being passed around by others.  IE my phone company who I'm paying to have a Non-Published number.  I appreciate all the feedback I've read but it's a shame to even need this kind of opportunity to share.  Hope you all have a great day irregardless of the rogue phone harassers.  Take care...

Calls every 30 seconds to our business.  VERY annoying.  Claim they are the selling the Birmingham News.

I also have received a phone call from this same number. The caller ID reflects Paper"  so of course I don't pick up nor call it back.......

They call every other day with a pre-recorded call. I don't even live in their area to receive any relevant info from a TX paper.

I got this same number a couple of months ago and then they stopped now they just called me again a few minutes ago and I didn't answer.  How do people find our cell phone numbers and call us.  I am tired of telemarketers doing this especially calling at 7 or 8 at night.
