This number shows up as the name but the caller-id number is different.  If you try to call the number from caller-id, it is invalid.  These people have found ways around the telephone system.  When I don't answer they hang up.  I feel these people are violating my privacy because even if I don't answer it, it disrupts my day.

Trying to sign me(you) back up as a newspaper subscriber. I cancelled them a year ago as the price rose to $220 a year PLUS an extra fee for black friday ads.I don't do black friday and the paper has become almost a tabloid with stories about "Orange is the New Black", GOTs, WWE, etc. Junk.

Get called from this number once a day. I do not answer.

This number was on top, with a local number on the bottom of phone screen. I cancelled my newspaper subscription a week ago and am getting these calls multiple times daily. I do not answer. No message is left.

They pitched Phila Inquirer subscription...wanted my credit or debit card number over the phone.  Don't do it.

Call  never leaves a message ,will hang up ,if I don't pick up

Received a call from this number on my land line which I don't use it goes automatically to VM.  The ID said 3149638895 but the number was actually from 215-383-1426

I get two to six calls A DAY from the number 203-583-8373. Sometimes it is identified as "BRIDGEPORT," and sometimes as "3149638895," which is a number I see discussed here as some Texas newspaper marketing fiend. I don't answer these calls, and they NEVER leave a message. It's harassment, pure and simple. What earthly pleasure they get out of it I don't know. I'm on the national Do Not Call list but these calls are not prevented. Could they be registered as something other than commercial, so that they're not blocked? Whatever the reason, it's almost enough to make us take our phone out entirely.

New phone number.  asked Charter to make it unpublished.  On the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY  and the calls keep coming in

The DNC isn't a call blocker so of course the calls keep coming in. It only works with legitimate telemarketers.
Having an unlisted number doesn't keep robo-diallers from calling you. They call all numbers in a given sequence so even unlisted numbers get called.

Tell them go to hell.

Get calls from this number.   Weird thing is this number comes up where the caller id is and the number 204-2719 comes up in the phone number

Was just a click and hang-up or disconnect call open line for like 20 - 28 seconds.  No message - no live person but it did also change over and show a 6167948559 number on my caller ID...

Called several times in a week, but never left message.  Scam caller.
