going to the a g with this will not do any good. i checked them out and they are a legitamate business that is a member of the BBB. I was told that the a g only investigates scam companies, and this company clearly was not a scam company Just thought I would tell you.

This company is a total scam....they do credit checks prior to sending a "sales rep" to your house.  I'm fairly certain that is illegal, but I could be mistaken. What they do is get people to sign up to "win gift cards",etc. then use your personal information to run credit checks, etc.  I'm sure the AG would be interested to hear about that!! Legitimate business or not, I'm sure their business practices are far from ethical.  I wouldn't worry too much though, from what I understand they are going under and should be out of business within the next month or two.

I can assure you that this company is extremly shady and a disgrace.As a consumer I must say that I am quite confused?? If I chose to have this "simple water test" done. What exactly are my "gifts"? I read that is was a speedway gift card,a walmart gift card  and now it's a six-pack of water and a cooler...Not to mention I have heard that you will also receive
a unauthorized credit check,before they come to test your water!!! Several
neighbor's of mine have scheduled a time to have thier water tested
only for no rep. to show up! I wonder if it had anything to do with thier credit?Heads up to all the homeowners in Indiana,the marketing part may be legal.However  the credit checks,bull*hit water test,stickers,giftcards are all a scam....THE GIFTCARDS AND GROCERY COUPON BOOKS DO NOT EXIST.....My friend has been waiting on her gift card for 3 months now...Oh yeah and it's not really an actual gift card it's a form that you have to fill out in order to receive one!!!I also must add that I find it quite comicial that one of the "happy customers" reassured us that they were in no way an employee or owner....I smell BULLS*IT and I think that it's in thier water....Be warned Indiana and stay informed! Boy you people dont have anything good to do with your time you know everybody depends on sales reps the world just think about it you buy cars. Free enterprise,  cant and should not try to stop it. All you have to do is say no to a salesman, tell a telemarketer no, tell a door to door program no. This is not too hard to do is it? Believe it or not they do this because it is effective and they sell a lot of products. If they didnt sell a lot, they would stop doing it. So the way to stop it, is for everyone to stop buying things that are marketed door.

Just for the record, my company does not do unautorized credit checks. The person I am responding too said they "heard" that we did. Heard????
You should know what they say about hearsay, but maybe you dont. Gossip is a real bad habit to get into, and now people with nothing better to do and too much time on their hands play with their computers and make stuff up about what they "heard" even when it is totally false. If truth matters to you at all, next time check your facts before you show your ignorance on line for the whole world to see.

When there are so many agencies out there regulating these sorts of practices, it is good to see intelligent people like you rely on a dumb "blog" site for you "facts". I AM sure the attorney general is busy. There is nothing Illegal about marketing a product. The stickers did not misrepresent anything. It said they had a package to deliver and they do. What is illegal about that? You have already made yourself look like at idiot to the whole online world, try not to do it with the Indiana Attorney Generals office.

yea, thank god for websites like this one, a place for lazy, illiterate people to get their information no matter how false it is. God forbid you use a credible source of information like the better business bureau, or the attorney generals office, or some other know source of true information. Keep relying on these "god given web sites" and you will truly remain uneducated and uninformed.

No one does a credit check illegally at that company. I do not know where you get your information, but if it is from a website like this one, it is no wonder you are as illiterate and you are uninformed.
