Had 6 missed phone calls. Finally called back and was an operater working from Louisiana. She said an inmate was calling me from Sequoyah counting in Oklahoma. I know not one person from there or in jail. Same thing happened last month from Delaware county jail. When I called the police station the officer said a lot of times inmates will call random numbers to get money etc on their books.
So when I spoke to operater in Louisiana she said she could block my number just needed to provide email and password. Any one done that before ??

If you block their number, you don't have to give anyone any personal information.

How can you find out who called you from jail if you missed the call? Does the charge show up on your cell phone bill if you accept?

No, they usually ask for a credit card.  Then the inmate can make unlimited calls to anyone they want.

Your post is confusing.  Are you saying that someone charged your card for a phone call from this inmate?  Have you contacted your bank?

In the last 2 days I've had 4 calls from this number I refuse to answer and blocked the number but i still get the voice mail idk anyone in jail and it's kinda concerning and weird

Just to be clear, you had nothing better to do today so you decided to read through 6 pages of posts to find one from 2012 so that you could reply to it and then expected that person to stop back after 11 years to see your reply?

Didn't answer, automated voice message left. City Tele Coin. It's from a prison system in Louisiana.  Caller ID showed Bossier, LA.  I don't know a anyone in prison or how they got my number, Will block it going forward.

This number called me at 1 in the dam morning and i turned my phone off because im tired of all these spam phone calls. However it sent me a voicemail and wen i opened it, didnt nobody say nothing because it was a 2 second voicemail

Dillion is also in grainger county jail from the same number...
