Got a call from this number at work, at my desk,  a woman's voice said that she is looking for me ( also mispronounced my real name) , my instinct kicked in and w/o hesitation i said wrong number and cut off the connection. She called three more times and I muted the cell phone ring and ignored the call. Looked up the number on line and found this forum to find out it was from a known cult.

This is the Church of Scientology.  They ignore requests/demands to cease.  I entered their number in  my iPhone , saved it, and blocked it.  That works.

I got a call from this number, haven't used this name in over 10 years, they must have gotten it off of a bankruptcy I just filed and was discharged as they also had my new husbands number but didn't know the new 'name'. was not a welcomed or warrented call.

Stop calling my phone.

Church of Scientology  Had my old home address from 50 yrs ago.  Have had the same telephone number of 35yrs.
He tried to as questions and I would not answer. I asked sharply "look whats your deal and why are you want?" He did not answer quick enough. Told him, I was on the  "do not call list"  so do that.  Had repeated calls from this number for weeks. This is the first time, I answered.  I had shown interest in them 50 yrs. ago and did not join.  They have been calling for years even though you tell them to stop and don't like them.

Called and said they were the "operator" calling with my daughter's maiden name and asking for me by name..................

I never answer an unknown number call.  No idea why the Church of Scientology would be calling me but I will add their number to my "do not answer" list.  Looks like they're active again.

Called back & they answered "Church of Scientology" and when asked they confirmed they were the "Mailing Dept" and were looking for name I did not know. They hung up before I could tell them to stop calling my number. If they persist, I will look into lawsuit for violating the TCPA.

They keep calling 5-6 times a day please STOP them

Person called and was looking for person with my name but who picked up mail from a PO box in my town

I've been called regularly on my home & cell number by 1(323) 960 - 3543 which appears to be Scientology. In the early 80's I followed a course in Brussels, but I was not interested to continue. They contacted my mother and by accident she gave them my actual number, and now I'm really annoyed with them calling me after 30 years.

I live in Canada, and the Church of Scientology in California has just started calling and harassing me.  I've never had any interaction with them before in any capacity, so I have no idea how they got my number or why the heck they are contacting me.  But they are nothing more than a brainwashing cult who try to suck in members to drain their bank accounts.  I have reported them to the authorities here in Canada, since I'm on the National Do Not Call list, but being as how it's an American number, I doubt anything will be done to stop these scammers.

They kept calling my phone and not leaving messages. So I blocked the number. They finally left a message, saying they are from the Church of Scientology, was asking for someone I don't even know and said that they want me to call them back if I do, or don't know this person or if it was the right or wrong number.. and they want me to verify that this person receives mail at some address they have on file.
How in the heck would I know? Who are these people. Seriously.

To add, I never signed up for, showed interest, or anything in Church of Scientology.
I have no idea how they would get my number in reference to some other person I don't even know. It is really creepy, actually.

Yep, they just called looking for my ex-wife (divorced now for 27 years!) I was kicked out but she can still take courses if she wants to (she doesn't.) Told them "no one here by that name" and the person said, "OK, wrong number." Hopefully that will be the last call.

Login to your service provider. Find the the list of numbers calling you. Click (or right click) and use "block" option. Then you have blocked these MF junkie callers for good. Put them out of business by blocking them.
