- dudecalled again.
Which they would all get shipped to whatever planet Xenu is from and he can put them in a volcano.
"Non-profit Organization" is the only category in call type that comes close to this organization. If they had "Criminal Organization" listed, I would have put that in.
Calling Scientology non-profit is a joke.- Caller: Church of Scientology

- K-MOSTOP CALLING ME !!! ...you are wasting your time because I do not answer my phone if I do not recognize the number, understand ?!?
- Irritated Space AlienThis cult has been harassing me for over 20 years! I have requested several times they quit sending their junk mail and stop calling me. They just ignore it, and continue to bombard me with their crap and irritating phone calls.
So I got mad, and you can too. If you want to really irritate them, here's how.
Go to Craigslist and select a large city near you. Start flagging their ads. You can do this anonymously. The cult is secretly advertising on Craigslist in most major cities to find new recruits/victims. They promise they can cure/fix anything, but they almost never say WHO they are in these ads. You can find them by searching for key words like depression, anxiety, stress, Lovers of Wisdom, etc.........
For example, in Los Angeles, just put in the search box the # (818) 241-2381 and you'll see 100 ads pop up. You can flag those ads as spam, and when 20 - 30 people flag them as spam, the ads get removed!

- TonyThese freaks have been calling me for the last 10 years, and ignore requests to stop.
Thanks for the info about their ads on Craigslist. I'll be flagging their ads until they stop calling me!- Caller: $cientology
- Donald| 2 repliesI have never had anything to do with Scientology. But a week ago, out of the blue, they started calling my personal cell phone and my work phone, numbers I rarely give out. I have no idea how they got a hold of those numbers.
The first message they left me, they asked if I was 'Dan' (not me, but close to my name). I just ignored it, chalking it up to a wrong number. But over the last week, I got 4 more calls at the most inconvenient times, like during a meeting, and realized they weren't going away.
So when I had a free moment during the work day, I called the number back and asked that they remove my numbers. It was not easy to convince them that their information was wrong, and I never had anything to do with them (and why should that matter anyway). They asked me a list of questions, had I checked out books, filled out surveys, and on, and on, and on. I kept saying 'no'. I hope my numbers will be removed, permanently, but I also wonder if they'll take my "interaction" with them today as a reason to call me in the future. We'll see.- Caller: Scientology

- magshoel| 2 repliesThey keep calling me, they call my house and cell phone at the same time. They say they are from the mailroom of the church of scietology. I keep telling them to stop calling me, but to no avail they keep doing it.

- PAR replies to magshoel| 1 replyI just got the same calls again (house phone and personal cell at the same time) after almost a year of not being bothered.... I got so fed up that I finally answered one day and told them to take me off their list, since they started sending mail too.
Not sure how or why I got added back to that list, and I never did figure out how they got my unlisted home phone number and my personal cell number, since I've never been involved with the organization.
Problem is, putting your phone numbers on the FCC "do not call" list, or filling out a form with the USPS, probably won't solve the problem, because business entities incorporated as churches, charitable organizations, or related "not-for-profit" entities aren't subject to the anti-solicitation regulations. - PAR replies to DonaldProbably not. After I basically did the same thing that you did... answered, and asked them to remove me from their phone and mail lists... they assured me it would stop. And it did... for almost a year.
I got a promotional mailing from them last week, and tonight they called my unlisted home phone number AGAIN, and then my personal cell phone less than a minute afterward. - nick| 1 replyThis is just one of may Church of Scientology calls I get. Once they get a phone number they pass it around their cult so you get calls from many cities. Even though the word church is in their name they are not a valid religion. Religious people don't harass. They are more like Jim Jones and his cult following playing on the weaknesses of some people. I feel sorry for them but still wish they would honor my request to stop calling.

- Pegasus| 1 replyMade the mistake of answering my cell (which I almost never do) but thought it was my wife calling and I answered by clicking my earpiece bluetooth. They asked for me by name, but realizing it was a Telemarketer call (Not my wife!) I immediately clicked them off. Unfortunately, now that they know there is someone actually attached to the number I can expect phone calls probably every night. {sigh} Why is there no way to *block* numbers directly from your cell phone?? Uggh

- Hoosier MGot a call on Saturday. Asked for me by my Maiden name and told them she was not home. When asked what the call concerned she identified herself as Greta and tried to verify an address for me in Albuquerque, NM. I told her I didn't know if that was correct. I'm suspecting a call back -- Thanks for the heads-up!
- KBK| 1 replyThis woman is persistent and relentless. Will not take NO for an answer. Says she is from the Address Dept of the Church of Scientology. If I answer one question she will stop calling. Calls twice a day on my personal cell phone on Sunday around dinner time and today while at work. I asked to have my number removed from the list, but she says she is trying to help me. If I answer the question I will no longer receive calls. I said to remove my number, do not call again, and I do not profess this religion. She called back a minute later and I did not answer. Next time it rings I will answer with...Go to HELL!
