I get this call daily, if we are not at home they dont leave messages, I finally talked to a person today and they asked for my boyfriend.  I told her we were on the do not call list and she replies "we are not a telemarketer"...thats funny then why dont you leave a message when you call.  I informed her to take us off the list she said she needed permission from my boyfriend, I told her since his name is not on the phone bill I have the right to tell her to never call here again...I had to repeat myself numerous times and she finally gave in and said by...lets see if they will try to call again...I'm not the friendliest person to deal with when you are calling my home number constantly for no apparent reason.

I received a very similar call from a number, 336-714-5761.  I called the phone carrier, and they told me that they don't have any records of that number calling me.  They let me know that the caller ID may have been spoofed.

I answered a call from this # and the idiot on the other offered to sell me cocaine.  I'm not kidding.  Who the hell is that a**hole?

I recieved multiple calls from 1-336-714-5762 .  I called the telephone provider and reported this to them.  The provider claimed that they  had not called me, and that the caller ID must have been spoofed.  The offending number called me again today, I asked who was calling, they said 'Chris Pearson'.  I then asked to speak to a supervisor.  The supervisor told me that they are doing a survey for Bellomy Research Inc., and that they got my number from filling out information on the internet.  I NEVER put my number into the internet, so this is BS to me.  I informed them that I am on the federal DNC list.  I also told them that I had called their provider, and that the provider has no record of them calling me, and that I found that rather disturbing.  The lady told me she had know idea about any of that, but that I would be taken out of their database.  I asked for a company number, so that I could call back for their company information in case I was not removed (So that I could make a report to the FCC).  The woman told me that they "dont have a call back number".  I told them that they must have some kind of office number, and she told me that they don't.  Well haha, their domain registration has a number.

I called this number and confirmed that it was bellomy research contacting me.

Now the last disturbing thing, is that the telephone provider, Paytec Communications (formerly US LEC INC) has told me that this is a spoofed number when it isn't.  Sounds to me like they are protecting their clients.  Call them and complain!  1.877.472.3832

Got a call asking for my son.  He does not live with us anymore.  As soon as I told the woman that, she thanked me and hung up.  I am already on the do not call registry, so I don't understand why they called me.  However, from reading other posts, I don't believe things will get better by complaining.  I guess the next time they call for him, he'll just have to speak with them....

When morons call, sometimes the only thing you can do is play with them.

This number has called me about 8 times in the past two weeks. I followed the steps above, and I work in a call center, so I kind of know the drill. The person on the phone was generally rude when I called in, and said it could take up to a month. I also submitted this number as a violation of the do not call list as well.

This person that you are complaining about is "legit" as you say!!...I happen to work for Bellomy Research inc.  We are not telemarketers...nor are we trying to "collect personal info".  It is our job to call nation-wide and complete surveys to get you, the consumers opinions about various companies all over the U.S....So NO "this person" will not be "caught and stopped soon". EVER!!!

YOU NEED TO GET A LIFE AND RETURN TO THE NEAREST SCHOOL AND RE-TAKE ENGLISH AND GRAMMER CLASSES!!

It's usually a good idea to know how to correctly spell "grammar" before yelling at someone to "RE-TAKE ... GRAMMER CLASSES!!"

This person, Chris Pearson, on caller ID has called for two weeks straight now, mostly at either 8 or 9 am and 9- 9:30 pm.  Doesn't leave a message and is very annoying.

They called for my son.  Wouldn't say why.  I told them he does not want all the calls he is getting.  She hung up on me.

9:32 am  number came up, I didn't answer, they left a long message w/ recorded music-but not 'hold' music, more like someone was holding their phone up to their car stereo... my phone cut them off eventually.

Have received many calls from this number asking for my daughter who hasn't lived here in years. Said it was for a survey. Tonight they called and said I won $1 million dollars from Publishers Clearinghouse. I didn't say anything and they hung up.

I'd been getting this call on my cell for several times in the past week (never answered, though).  So I went through with your suggestion, and I hope it works!

I keep getting calls from this number. This is harrassment already.
