Wow, 3 shill posts in a row. You have no logical reason to look up this phone number so you must be here to shill. If not, answer me this: why would the police follow up on a 911 call? If you called for help, you would talk to the responding officers when they arrive, not to some survey hours later.

Got a call from this number at 3:15am. Didn’t answer. Looked up the number and found this post. I had called 911 an hour before - so i wonder if it was the nypd calling me back, given what others here are saying. Also, the caller ID said New York NY (not Great Neck, like for others).

That is correct, it is scammers impersonating the NYPD to trick people into calling them back.

Got a call from this number at midnight my time. Don’t know who it is and seeing it might be NYPD I would think they’d leave a message??

Yes I can confirm this is a call back number from the NYPD.  After calling 911 an hour latter I got 2 phone calls back to back from 347-250-9899. I did not recognize the number so I did not answer the phone. they did not leave a message. I looked up the phone number on google and found all of these responses saying it was NYPD. It makes sense. I did call NYPD prier to these prank calls.  NYPD never showed up. I live in the Bronx NYC...
