My "Call Blocker" does not seem to be working on this number. Calls still coming thru and blocked immediately after first of three calls.

This number is NYPD calling you as a follow up after you have called 911, and yes it is LEGIT if you did call 911 earlier. If you didn't call 911, then it's some scammer spoofing the number. But again, it definitely is NYPD if you had called 911 for help. I can personally verify the number is legit after two separate incidents where I had to call 911 in NYC and I got calls from this number within 30 minutes of calling for help.

Not a scam. Called 911 earlier to report smoke in apt building. Received missed call from an unknown number twice and then with this 347 250 9899 number twice. 10 minutes later NYPD officers arrived to ask if everything was resolved. Asked if they called with this number and they verified it was them

It is 911 dispatch calling when police arrive on the scene and need more information.  I just had them call me after calling 911.

And then you rushed right to a phone number look-up site to - what, exactly? Tell random strangers on the internet that you had called 911? There is no logical reason for you to have looked up the phone number.

NYPD doing followup on a 911 call. It gets through, at least on Samsung devices, because anonymous calls are automatically unblocked for 2 hours after you call 911. Using anonymous numbers for something this potentially important is an interesting choice.

I think you are shill doing damage control. No LEO or Dispatcher is going to be making calls from their home phone. Responding to old posts is one of the things shills like to do.

-- Doing a plain vanilla google on the number the first site that shows up is one of the sites that tracks robo calls. IF the number is a legit, it looks like it is being spoofed.
