Electronic voice message claiming to be IRS Agent and that they are filing a law sut against me. Bring it!!! Total scam. Beware

Yep.  Just repeating what everyone is saying here.  Total F'ing scam.  Sad that these [***] can't be brought to jail on fraud charges.

What question did you ask that caused them to hangup. I once asked for their agent name and number, told them I'm an IRS auditor and my computer shows no active such agent # assigned to named agent. Got a quick hangup.

I got a call from them yesturday sayn i owe taxes they been tryn to contact me the been bye my house ect threating me with i will be aressted in 7days because i didnt respond in time im like i didnt get a letter or nothing he said the new law state they dont have to send letter. Then he said well the irs is suin you it scared the hell out of me then he put sum guy on the phone askn when can i start payments i told him next month so i look on google to investagate they were scamer calling from a 347 number so today i ask for i id number and am i still goin to jail he said no dont worry about and if this number call back dont answer wow sum people in this world are crazy sound like sum india people doin this too

This is an overseas scam which has been reported in the news.

The was 1 347 -926-9317. This is a scam rite glad i didnt send money they ask me how quick can i send money

Person called and left message stating:  IRS has filed a law suit against us.  They're tried numerous times to speak with us.  Call this number immediately.  By the way, we've received approximately 20/25 calls in 6 months, many times with different telephone numbers.

Just received a call from this number. Let it go to voicemail. VM says that I am aware that there is a lawsuit filed against me blah, blah, blah
