got a call this evening around 8:20pm from the same number, answered and some woman kept saying hello then hung up.  tried calling back and got an out of service message. kinda weird the number only works one way.

I received 3 calls from this number on 8/3/10.  They called my cell, my fax, and my home #.  When I answered the home #, they said they were not selling anything and started to ask if I had a smoke detector anywhere in the house.  I hung up.

I am so annoying they hung up on me! lol

I just got the same call.  I let the answering machine pick it up and half way through they hung up.

Got a call today from this number. Woman with an Indian accent said it wasn't a sales call but a survey (which makes them exempt from the do not call list, that's why they say that). She asked if we had smoke detectors, if we replaced the batteries regularly, if we had fire extinguishers, and if we were concerned about fire and security. Well of course we are - who isn't? What a bunch of stupid questions. I don't know if they would have tried selling me something if I said no to having those things. She stated my name and wanted to know if it was me, so she had my info already. Then she said thanks and have a nice day. Very strange. I put the number in my selective call blocking list since I suspect they will probably use that as an excuse to say I consented to future sales calls when I did not.

I am on the do not call list, and do not know who this number belongs to.  The person literally screamed into the phone when I could not understand him.  Said his name is Benny and started spelling it.  He has a foreign accent.  After spelling his name, he screamed into the phone again, saying, CAN YOU HEAR ME?  I promptly hung up.

just got a phone call from +-401-401-0125 with someone claiming to be a rep. from GE. I asked why they were calling from Rhode Island and they said that they have an office there. He babbled something about a security system and getting information. He asked if we have insurance on our home. I asked what that had to do with anything. Then, before we hung up, he said something about being entered into some kind of sweepstakes. Very difficult to understand. from India maybe?

No sir, don't like it.

The last two days I got a call from this number. No one spoke call ended.

Keeps calling my phone and no message

I am also on the "Do Not Call List' yet these people call here regularly 4-5 times a WEEK.  I never answer and I grow very tired of this. What is the purpose of the "Do NOT CALL LIST" if these idiots continue to get our number??

Every two hours this number calls my UNLISTED, PRIVATE, DO-NOT-CALL list number. Very annoying!!!

We got this outfit call today..nobody answered

received a call from 404-401-0125 aug 5 12:40 pm on my unlisted land number.  I was not home and it rang once and they must have hung up.  ran the number on phone search and it is a house in RI.  called today at 12:40 am. and got a busy signal.

same old no message left for 4014010125.

Got this call today but didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Caller ID says:  RHODE ISLA CALL.

Got a phone call today 8/9/10, from this number. Caller I.D. says it is from RI. Looked up online and it says the number belongs to a person named: Joe Crumb, 45 Main Street, East Greenwich, RI. Phone # 401-401-01245. He did not leave a message on our machine, so do not know what he/she wanted.

Just rec'd the phone call.  Did not answer and they did not leave a message.  Caller ID is RHODE IS call.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number.  I said hello a couple of times, but no one said anything.  About an hour later, I received another call from the same number.  I could hear talking in the background, and then they hung up on me.  Luckily, I haven't received any more calls from them.  My home phone and cell phone are both on the Do Not Call list.
