This moron said he wasn't going to ask any personal questions and then asked me my name.  After that it was time to have some fun.  Sure, he got pissed and hung up on me, but I at least got some enjoyment out of a scammer wasting my time.

Just got a call from this number our conversation went something like this:
Me: Hellp

Him: Hello

Me: Hello

Him: Hello

Me: Can I help you?

He hung up...Sketchy

Harrasing calls on my cell from 401-401-0125

Our receptionist received a call from this number,
Didn't think much of it at the time, the lady could barely speak english and asked our receptionist
"if this is a business"  and hung up shortly thereafter

The number also called 3 other extensions and hung up.

I have no idea what it is...
But it seems negative.

Foreign gentleman proclaimed it was not a sales call and asked if we had working smoke detectors.  I said we're fine and hung up.  I started googling for it, and found similar.

I encourage anyone here to use the FREE http://www.phonespamfilter.com/ -- you report just like this, and with a little technical stuff, you can block these numbers like any other spam.  FREE, FREE, FREE.  Did I mention FREE?

In the past couple of days we received 4 phone calls from this number.  The one time I picked up the call the person hung up.  Let the other calls go to our message answering system.  All calls coming from Rhode Island.  We do not know anyone from Rhode Island.

Got a call from this number, picked up, heard the ringing and i just hung up.  in reference to previous posts where people are saying it is someone from GE.  this may be in relation to a call i got last week from an indian operation doing a safety survey where at the end of the call i think i was told that I was entered to win a free GE security system, which i declined 4 times before hanging up as the person kept repeating themself.

MAKE IT STOP !!!   LOL

calls and hangs up .. I am on a do not call list

Here it is late Saturday afternoon before Easter, and my phone rings.  It show a bunch of XXXXXXXX's and the initials RI and the area code and number 401-401-0125.  I did a reverse phone lookup and found nothing.  I am on the government do not call list, and believe me, whoever these clowns are will be getting some heat from the government over this violation.  By the way, I did not answer this unknown call.  I figure it was some sort of telemarketing company, and I do not answer unidentified calls AT ALL!

At 6:43 P.M. Saturday April 3rd recieved 2nd phone call from these jerks, I am on do not call list and told them that, but they still insisted on doing their so called survey, the guy could barely speak english and kept insisting on my first name, I told him where to go and hung up, something needs to be done about these people.

I have receive 4 calls from these clowns.  The first one they asked me if I had smoke detectors, etc and I told them that it was none of their business and to take my phone number which is unlisted and on the do not call list off their list.  
Well, to this date they haven't cause I'm still getting their phone calls.  I hope that these clowns learn their lessons and hope that they don't swindle some poor person out of money.

I did this and the calls stopped.

Left no message.  Only number showed on caller ID.

got a call from them- twice now, on my cell phone. i didn't answer either one because it was an unknown # to me. this last time a msg was left of just background noise and voices talking. i did try to call and it said to hang up and try again. whatever, i am going to answer the next one if they call and harrass them, based on what i am reading, maybe i will try to sell them on some smoke detectors ... maybe some english lessons...?

Have received a call from this number every week for the past couple of weeks.  I haven't picked up.  Caller ID says it's a Rhode Island call.  I am on the do not call list.  Wish these calls would stop.

This is an unknown number to me.  I answered but no one spoke to me.

Didn't answer.  I could hear voices and noise in the background.  
It was 5:30 p.m.
