wow this is really upsetting. i've never had scammers get ahold of my cell number before and i'm getting damn curious as to how they got it! today june 26th 2011 i have not done anything requiring my cell number as of lately. its been a good few days, they call automated voice lady promising to lower intrest rates okay i pressed one, i dont want these people calling me again! the person hung up before i could even get one word out. i have a 208 area code from idaho :) i like my mountains and lakes not the scams and fakes thanks!

i'm going to agree its got to be from craigslist, i have one ad containing my phone number figures some [***] would get it. i'm posted in spokane wa, guessing their looking all over the U.S. someone please figure out how to sue these jerks!

I don't have anything on craigslist and they called me. Do you have a T-mobile account? more than one person has said they do. So, could that be the common denominator

Just got a call, I don't have any craigslist ad, but I do have a T-mobile account.  I wonder if they sold out the numbers before they sold themselves to the devil, AT&T...

This number came in on my cell phone number & I missed the call and when I tried calling back, and it said the number was no longer in service

Just got a call did not answer when i called back it said out of service. i live in boise, have nothing on craigslist and i have verizon.

Got a call in the last hour from this number.  Alabama cell phone, not T-Mobile, no Craigslist ads (unless my husband did it).  I can't think of anything that I've given my cell out to lately.  I only have it listed to specific people on FaceBook, not even all friends.  
I did just find out that my husband may have posted it on a found pet  board.

I just received a call from this number too, though I didn't answer it as was on another call.  After reading the previous posts, I searched Elite Planning Group.  I did find theeliteplanninggroup.com, which is a debt consolidation group.  Just thought anyone might want that information in case you want to file a complaint.

Called to hard-sell some very phony sounding credit scheme.  Hung up when I asked them to take my number off their list.

Missed a call on my cell phone, tried to call the number but it would not connect.  Lowlife's, could care less about do not call list or your time.

Called and I returned the call a couple of hours later. Response said that the number is no longer in service.

I received a call from this number on my cell phone. Recorded message promising to lower my interest rate. The only time I have given out my cell number was last week to a home security company. I hope they did not sell it. I didn't punch one to hear more, since I pretty well figured out it was a scam.

Fraudulent caller

I just received a call from 401-757-3220. I let it go to my voice mail, since I don't have business with any firm in Rhode Island. The voice mail was a snippet of a recorded voice, saying it was my final chance to lower the interest rate on my credit card. I don't have a credit card. My cell phone is on the Do Not Call list (and I've already submitted my complaint, for all the good that will do). I am also not enough of an idiot to fall for this scam.

Pressed "1" to talk to live agent. When she asked if I pressed "1" I said "Yes. Don't call me anymore" and she hung up on me.

I received a call from this number about 30 minutes ago, listened to about 1 minute of the lame recorded message about interest rates and promptly reported the call to donotcall.gov. I've been on the federal "do not call" list for several months and until today it's worked absolutely perfectly. I stopped receiving all soliciting (or in this case, scamming apparently) calls since signing up. How these guys managed to weasel past all that is pretty curious!

WTF??  I also am in Boise and had something on Craigslist recently... got a call from this number today but didn't answer, thank goodness.  How in the hell are they able to get unlisted phone numbers from Craigslist ads that have a randomized email address?
