Received call with no message 6:10 PM , Dec 18.  Do not know anyone at this number.

The MSR group is a market research firm.  The DNC list does not apply to them.  It only applies to telemarketers.  I worked for them about 5 years ago as a second job because I need the extra $$.  It was hard because I wanted so badly to tell the people who became "blow-the-top-off-the-meter" pissed off that this was their chance to tell their bank, grocery store, local media, etc. what they did or didn't like about them.  Companies pay money to MSR to find out what the public and their customers think of them.  If you're really pissed off at your bank and this group calls to conduct a poll on them, jackpot for you.  I don't know how many times I've experienced bad customer service and wished something like this would happen.  About 80% would tell me that they are on the DNC and to go **** myself.  You couldn't get a word in edgewise to indicate that you were not a telemarketer but a polling firm because they wouldn't allow you to talk why they were giving you every expletive known to man and expressing what a pathetic loser you are.  Of the remaining 20%, about half of those were just being nice and going through with it for your sake and the rest were actually into it.  One time, I called a woman who told me she used to do the same work and was glad to go through the survey.  I believe there is some scientific purpose for firms like these to not put out PSA's about what they do.  I always thought they should do that so people would participate and let firms and organizations know what the public thinks of them.  They take these extremely seriously.  We used a computer system that allowed us to put in a better time and date to call if they wanted to take the survey but couldn't do it at the time we called.

Caller ID showed MSR GROUP. Googled this and it turns out this is a large survey conducting company as others have mentioned. They do have a screen to opt out of future calls. It appears as though they are a legit company and will respect your wishes.

On DNC list/ got call from MSR Group. Didn't answer. Thought FCC was supposed to issue big fine !

1.24.13 - Just received another call from this number. They never leave a message and since I do not recognize the number I do not answer it.  They need to stop.

I blocked them. Sick of unwanted calls interrupting my day every stupid day. You hire people to bother me, you lose my business.

I have now gotten the fourth call from this number today after getting two calls yesterday with noise and foreign languages spoken in the background but no message left. I am on a secure unlisted number telephone line, now I am paying to have my telephone number changed. A gain!

Don't bother. Their automated dialers will eventually reach out and touch you yet again when the sequential dialing hits your new number.

I left my home country for many reasons and empty falsehoods like this are one of the many reasons. If you can not say what you mean to a cheater, a fool, a thief, or an embezzler to their face. This group of nuisance callers who ruin your day, your work, or your sleep can not either. ~~~ My wife already thinks our new house is not safe and that people from the old country have found us after we have been relocated twice. ~~~ Callers and or firms like this should be fined, punished, and put out of their terrible business!

This number showed up on my cell, no message was left, I don't answer any calls that are not in my contact list, and if It's important enough a message would be left and they would be speaking English :)

Calls in the evening, Caller ID says MSR Group. Leaves no message. When will these people get the hint,
if I don't answer, I don't want to talk to them or iisten to them try to sell me something.

Called me twice and hang up at the moment I picked up.

They called my husband's cell phone while he was at work. He didn't answer, and there was no message left. Our land line and our cell phones are all on the DNC list. Fat lot of good that does!
