I finally picked up and kindly asked them who they are.  The Gallup Poll!  I said you have called me every day and please take me off your list.  The woman hung up on me!!  Very rude.

When people are very firm about not being called back , we generally code it as such! However I have had calls completed by folks who really didn't want to do it and then say Yes we could call at another time to get more of their thoughts and opinions.  If you check out Gallups website, it is a very interesting process. Do the survey... You may enjoy having your opinions heard! Even the White House listens . Because of one of our surveys, the President awarded a large chunk of money for certain studies . I believe the NY Times did an article about it. Yes, if you really don't want us to call, there are several ways to be removed. But remember,  some things you may want to give your opinion on.

If you want to stop getting calls from the Gallup Poll all you have to do is answer the phone and tell the telephone interviewer that you want to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST. It's very simple people! If you just send them to voicemail, answer and hang up, or tell them you're not interested you're gonna get a call back. So save yourself and the interviewers' time by just answering your phone and telling he/she that you would like to be put on the do not call list. The telephone interviewers have to do things a very certain way or they can get into trouble. The Gallup Poll is a legit polling company that has been around for MANY years. Gallup is NOT trying to scam you, they seriously just want your thoughts and opinions on various topics. Just go Gallup.com and see the statistics. Also, the news, the news papers, many other organizations use Gallup for statistics. I'm sure you have seen or heard Gallup statistics somewhere. Just remember, before you go bitching and complaining about the "annoying" calls from Gallup just answer the phone and say the magic words "put me on the do not call list".
