I am on the do not call list and have been on it for years.  Gallup (ID that shows up) called 6/4.  My number is unlisted along with being on the DNC registry.

Did not leave message.

I've received a call this afternoon and they did not leave a message.  I tried calling and all I get is music.

this number called here today at 1pm asking for a member of my household by name, so I asked who it was, they claimbed to be from wells fargo bank, so I asked was the call of importance, and they just replied with, "is this the right number for that person?" I said yes this is the right number, but they are not here right now, if this is an important call, I will give you the number where they can be reached, and the man said, "no I will just try back" and hung up.    I called the number back, and got a recording that said "forwarding to a voice mail system, the party you are trying to reach #8944 can not be reached, to log into your mail box dial 81, to call an attendant call 0.    I DO NOT believe the call was legit.

I have been getting calls from this number for a few days now..Never leave a message, and I don't answer calls when I don't know the number. They are calling my cell. Grrr. Hubby called the number back today when they called again and got a message about the voice mail system as well.

I've been getting many calls from this #.  When asked to speak to a male member over 18, I told them to go ahead and ask, and in a deep voice, I said "I used to be one".  I have call blocker, and have added them to the list.

I have never answered.

I got a call from this number twice on my cell phone and didn't know who it was so I googled the number. They don't leave a message but I'm not wasting my cell phone minutes on some telemarketer.

i just got a call today and they asked for my dad when its my moms phone and then asked for her and asked when a good time to call would be, so iunno wtf, she didnt seem to want anything

I received a call from this number yesterday evening on my land line.  The person introduced himself as Brad and told me he was with the Gallup Pole.  He asked me for information about my last visit to a specific bank, the name and location of the bank he asked about are actually where I bank.  I told him that I declined to give any information due to the fact that I had not initiated the call.  He got huffy and said, "I just told you, my name is Brad and I am with the Gallup Pole.  Do you want my 1-800 number?"  I told him no.  That would serve no purpose in calling any 1-800 number he gave me because I still would not know who I was calling.  At that point, I hung up.

Called my cell phone.

Called once on Saturday and once on Friday, left no messages.
I, too, am on all no-call registries.

I, too, thought it was a telemarketer and finally called the number (after getting the annoying hang-up when my answering machine picked up).
It's the Gallup polling organization in Omaha, Nebraska.

I am on the Do Not Call List. I have an unlisted number I pay dearly for. I got this call from 402-952-4444 on SUNDAY night at 7:30 PM. Doesn't help relaxing on a weekend. I did not answer it but logged it. I will report it to the Federal Complaint for violation of Do Not Call List. I also got a great product, a Caller ID Manager from Privacycorps.com and have blocked that area code from ever ringing my phone again.

Received this call on a Friday afternoon (July 6, 2007), on my cell phone.  I will make an AG complaint as others have suggested.  Will post instructions...

called me on 7/8/07 @607pm, i didnt recognize the # so i did not pick up. It did not leave a voicemail. i googled & found this site. what an ^$$|-|0l3!

Called my cell today at 7ish, didnt answer

Got a call from this # today @4:45pm.  We weren't home and I don't have my AM on, so the # was the only thing I got. When I 'googled' the # I found this site.  I don't know who they are or what they want,but I'm also on the DNC reg.  If the persist, I too will be contacting the appropriate authorities.

Ok.. got the phone call a couple minutes ago..  it was from 402-952-4444 - the companies name is Gallup - they stated they wanted to speak  with the person who had recently gone to the bank and delt with a teller. He then referenced my wifes name. I said.. I was the one who went to the bank. I asked the who what when and where. He said that Wachovia hires that company to call their customers up and validate the service that the teller had provided.. After hanging up with the guy I did call my bank to validate the who what when and where..

But for those of you who need more info .. I have provided below the corporate info/ contact information so you can call and request that they stop calling you.
