- Tom| 1 replyI got a call from this number but did not answer. I read a few posts and some said it's the Gallup Polls, then I remember my family went to an event called "Navy Days", at San Pedro, CA; where we toured a docked Navy ship. They asked for my number when I filled out the evaluation at the end, and someone did mentioned I will get a survey call in a couple of weeks. So I guess the Navy hired Gallup to assess public reaction to the event.
- Caller: Gallup (based on other posts)
- EddieThey called and said they were from US Bank and asked if we opened an account there. We did not give them any info.

- marrReceived call, did not pick up, because I did not recognize area code. I am on do not call list.
- D replies to AnonymousI am on do not call list - so when someone pays (We are paid from banks, companies)
it is no different than a company doing calling themself except YOU THINK "DO NOT CALL" DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU!! you are collecting info for someone else and seem to think that it will bother people less and then you complain about people being RUDE after YOU call them and want to justify your job. GET A DIFFERENT JOB and quit bothering people - someone| 1 replythis phone number has called me once today and once yesterday..did some research and found out it is a survey company called "gallup" and they will call random people maybe even more than once to get you to take there survey over the phone..if you have a iphone you can block them..go to ur settings and under the setting"phone" there will be a "blocked" tab and you may add the number ud like to block i never answer calls from people i dont know because i heard that even if all you do is pick up the phone and say nothing they can still get info somehow so im not really sure on that but i hope this helps
- Caller: gallup(i assume)
- Call type: Survey
- someone replies to someoneAnother note is some banks after you visit them or create an account with them may commission gallup to call you about how your service was when you went there..ive seen a lot of people get there call to be about this and i had JUST gotten a checking account the day before they started calling me so maybe this is why you are always being called
- wabbiphangup calls. possibly scouting for pickups. had the number without problems for 15yrs, but just gave it as emergency contact to public school. i guess they sell that list.
- I think you lie replies to AnonymousThat's because people do not want to be disturbed at 9 P.M. by someone claiming to be part of a 'survey'. When someone is rude to me first, I will be rude right back.
- 6176375533| 1 replyCall me every day I'm tired of it

- dan replies to Not ParanoidThank you for being intelligent.
- dan replies to akProbably a problem with the connection or maybe your phone was on mute...? Gallup is for real and NOT a scam.
- dan replies to What the hYou know.. you can say neither or other. Think outside the box. Gallup is a reputable company that gathers the public's opinions on a variety of topics. Leaders in government and businesses look to those statistics in making decisions. Dont b.s. Make your voice heard.
- dan replies to bdmineBlick the number on your phone or pick up ask politely ask the interviewer to permanently delete your number.
- Wrong... replies to jp....even if you have a business relationship with a company, they must still add you to their internal do not call list/do not mail list if you don't want promotional offers and surveys. They may contact you about servicing your account however. And the business relationship ends 18 months after you have concluded your final transaction with them - you don't have to write them to do anything!
- dan replies to TomAhh its good to see intelligence on this board.
- dan replies to 6176375533Ask the interviewer to delete your number permanently.
