I keep getting them on my cell phone while I'm driving, which is what I do for a living. I answer thinking it's a family emergency, but keep getting hung up on because it takes a moment to answer the phone. The last time I got soemone:

Me "who's this ?!?"

them" it's Joey..."

Me' Don't know any Joey"

Joey "I'm from Gallup polling..."

Me " I'm driving and doing 70 MPH at the moment..."

Joey" is there a better time to call you?

Me" no."

and then I hung up...

Been calling me every single day for 2 weeks. Finally answered. Wanted to do survey on my recent trip to US Bank. Opted out of survey.

I work at a bank and this is  a scam several of our customers have had issues recently with these scammers . Please be  careful  and  do  not  give out  any personal  information.

Caller ID listed Gallup Org. But when I answered the guy on the other end just casually kept saying "Hello?" Then he hung up. If it is Gallup, why are there so many complaints. They are usually professional. If it is not Gallup, what is the point of calling then hanging up when answered.

They've called 3 times in the past week. I never answered but they never leave messages either.

No one talks they have no reason to call me

Don't forget checking for live numbers for resale. Your assistance in providing them and other parties with working numbers by answering is greatly appreciated. Shut down any answering machine and let the phone ring or block the number.

You work for Gallup?  Would you pass my message on to your superiors!?  My home plan:  Please do not call.  I subscribed to this many years ago.  Calling my home at 8:30 pm is unacceptable. I do not answer these solicitations. Thank you.

I just got a call from this number 402-952-4444. I didn't answer the call.  I called the number back from my office phone.
The message that came up said this was the Gallop Orginzation and they handle Gallop Poll surveys & the only ask question regarding the survey topic.
The call then referred me to their website - WWW.GAOOUP.COM.  I listened to the recorded message twice to make sure I had the website address correct & it was for www.gaooup.com. I did a search on this website & the hits show up as Nigerian Limited.
I went onto this website and it said they are a private company who has built a machine that weighs luggage to see if it is over weight for boading a plane.

Stupid company asking me if i was democrat or republican so i started to bs the entire survey

Called 08/07/2015 at 21:00. Rang my cell phone. NOBODY has that number so I did not answer. Did not leave message.

If you want people to listen to you don't hang up when you get an answering machine. Leave a polite msg stating the purpose of your call and that you will call back another time. I also reply back to you "I wish people weren't so rude to us." It is rude to call the same phone over and over and over and hang up.

Keep getting calls from 402-952-4444.

Telling them to take you off their list is mranningle. You have to tell them to put you on their do not call list. As the law states all telemarketing companies have to maintain a do not call list and check state and federal DNCL .

They call almost daily from Nebraska 402-952-4444.  I pay for my minutes on a card/so I won't answer it.  Looks to be possible telemarketer - but I don't give my cell phone # out to anybody, but immediate family/never to anyone else  - so don't know how/why they would call it.

I did NOT ask to participate in any poll.  I did not give Gallup my number, and both my home and cell numbers are on the DO NOT CALL list.  So, they have no business calling my number AT ALL.  What does one have to do not to be bothered with such crap.

The number 402-952-4444 has called my cell phone on Friday at 5:48pm, Saturday at 1:26pm, Sunday at 3:12pm & Monday at 6:56pm.  After calling 4 days in a row & I don't answer you'd think they'd get the message that I don't want to talk to them!!
