It is called "PHISHING"  Don't know how they do it or how to stop it.

MY LAST CHANCE TO LOWER MY CREDIT CARD RATE!!!!!!  I pressed 1 and some mostly unintelligible female voice started babbling.  She wasn't interested that I was alone and the heat was getting to me and I was happy that someone cared about me.

I am getting 1-2 phone calls from this number a day and I need them to stop.  If they continue to come, I'm going to have to take legal action.

Did a reverse lookup.  Here's the information of the people responsible:

Do not call my phone anymore!

They keep calling my grandma several times a day. She counted 15 times two days ago, they wont provide her with any info, she just tells them to stop calling and when sh says she doesn't have a credit card, they hang up on her!

Sounds like a fake name to me!

Called and I did not answer.
I am late on a Capitol 1 Credit card.
The best thing to do with unwanted calls is to save them to your contacts as Z1 and set the ringtone to silent. With one late credit card I have filled up Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5 and I and I am filling numbers up in Z6 right now. They come at you with hundreds of different phone numbers. But I cant hear you Capitol One.

These are scammers and tht is why they don't respect the Do Not Call Registry. I have received multiple such calls from NINE different numbers since May 2011. I now do not answer anything which is outside my own area code, and if they don't leave a message then I believe it is not important. The thing to do is to report these to the Federal Trade Commission and this is easy to do - just click the link at the top of this page where it says "report unwanted calls".

This number calls my phone as well.  Same company called from 424 219 7005.  Please stop calling

I keep getting these calls also. Usually I ignore them and there are no voicemails so I answered once and asked them how they got my number because I am on the do not call list, they hung up on me!!

Received call at 1:22 PM on July 25th. I'm also on the DNC list. I recognized the area code because I live in Georgia, but nobody I know has a 404 area code. Didn't answer. This is my mobile number they called, and I give that out to no one. I set up a Google Voice number for all things internet-related, so I don't know where they got my number from, aside from dialing at random.
