called this AM , not the first time , this time I picked up and said " Good Morning, you have reached the U.S. Marshals office, phone and mail fraud division, how may I direct your call?"  there was someone who stammered and stuttered "sorry wrong no. " and hung up.  Guess they wont be calling my number for a while.  LOL

Called and did not leave a message.

this number is first national collection bureau inc. comes up on caller id as Oklahoma City Ok. they're spoofing their number using as a way to make contact with people on debts that are past due/statutes of limitations<<<SOL. way past statutes of limitations. called them back on cellphone, as they called on fax phone. talked to (josh gates) and asked him where they were located and right out of his mouth he said they were from Nevada. told them don't know anything about a debt that he was referencing to and hadn't received anything from them about the alleged debt. he asked you haven't got any mail about the debt and I said no. asked him again where were they from and he said Nevada. he said I could go to the secretary of the state of Nevada and see they were a legitimate company. http://www.fncbinc.com/contactus.html  first national collection bureau inc 610 Waltham Way, Sparks, Nevada 89434, 800.824.6191

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

This number called me several time a week,never leaves a message.

my caller id shows unavailable and the number underneath, it is the owner of the number that is unavailable not the number. if it says private caller--that is all that shows, with no number. so what OKC405 is saying makes sense. It shows up as unavilable on mine (TX) and i have friends in OK and their numbers show up with their names. sometimes this number show up with just Oklahoma Call and i know it isn't my friend's and it is a scam. haven't been able to stop them and the number won't block, even the phone company tried blocking it and it would not block. they told me it was a spoofed number and it won't block.

This number continues to call me doesn't leave messages and when I answer they don't talk. PLEASE STOP CALLING ME!

I'm currently in the process of collecting from Midland Credit Management in a class action settlement resulting from their illegal calls to my cell phone.  These idiots obviously want to pay me too.  $500 per call.  Keep calling...PLEASE!

FNCB has been sued many times for illegally autodialing cell phones, and as far as I know they have lost or settled every case.  If you can prove they are still knowingly breaking the law, you have a good shot at triple damages of $1500 per call under the TCPA.

I have been getting calls from 405-421-0318 recently, and they NEVER say a word, they just hang up. They call every couple of weeks or so.

If this is a debt collection agency, aren't they supposed to contact you via USPS before they begin calling you.
The person with the 'debt' is deceased and that debt was paid in full at least a year before the person in debt died.
I explained all this and asked them put me on their do not call list, but then 'Nicole' hung up.

Yes, they have had tons of class actions filed against them for "alleged" Fair Debt violations, TCPA violations for calling cell phones without consent, state law violations for recording calls without notice, etc.  However this is not exactly a Fortune 500 company, and no lawyer wants to put in 3 years of work when there is a risk that some other lawyer or the FTC will put them out of business before they can pay up.  So almost all of these cases settle quickly without any payout to the other class members, and the only way you will get compensation for this harassment is to go after them on your own.

I have received many calls from # 405-421-0318 & 386-423-4744. The first # is a Oklahoma area code that is some how coming from Nevada. They say that they are a collection co. They will not give me any info on what it is about unless I give my social #. After being in law enforcement  I would not give them any info and they would not tell me what the call was about except it was a collection. The second # was from the same co. in Nevada. How can a company use a Oklahoma # that is located in Nevada ? Hmmm? If anyone would give me an address that maybe some one would go there and maybe BREAK a finger or two....now not saying it would be me but maybe some one that lets say weighs 270lbs and isn't a small guy , I mean some one may just show up there and let then know they should have found a REAL job and not one that is trying to scam people it may have a life changing experience. ;} Now keep in mined as I said it isn't me just some one who would give them a second chance to get a real job. Hey sometimes people need a little push in life. Hmmm?

I work  cheap and almost free. Sick of these butt holes doing this and no one seems to have any BALLS to stop them. A good address and I would go speak with them.Just pay for the plane ticket and cab fair . Be more than happy to TALK to them in person. Now I said TALK nothing else ! But if I was assaulted then I would have to defend myself. Gee, hope I wouldn't have to knock any ones teeth out, broken nose ect.  I surely would hope law enforcement would not let this happen.

Call from 405-421-0318. They called me and hung up.  This happened 3 times in one day.  Got the phone bill and Sprint said this number is in Romania and that I called it.  What? Stupid.

GOT to call from this number on or house phone but we do not pick up the house phone at all

Received a call, answered and they never said a word. Hung up and called from work phone and said my call was very important to them and wait for the next available agent. Hung up and blocked em from calling my cell.
