- HQI had this company reaching out to a family member stating that i owed 60,000. so when i called them back myself, they said they worked for the state of illinois and were trying to collect a debt. they said they had other clients. when i asked to have this sent to me in writting the person was very aggresive and started asked me if i have ever taken out a PAY DAY Loan and not paid it back. I stated to him that scammers like them have been calling for 2 years and i was not going to do anything until i see it in writting for the company he is trying to collect. He then got more aggressive and stated then i would be taken to court for Bank Fraud and Breach of contract. and using a fake checking account to secure a loan.
i said i need it in writting he then threatened to take me to court and have to pay fines. I said i work for a law firm and have nothing to lose and get free representation. He went on to scream at me and accuse me of not wanting to pay and going around in circles.
I said i need to see this in writing and if it takes me going to court then so be it. I know my rights and i have to be notified properly. He said they dont have to do anything. He threatened me again and i said i would report them to the better business bureau because they cannot threatened you over the phone. I asked to speak to a supervisor and He " Justin Duval" hung up on me.
I called back to speak to a supervisor and they told me there was none. I said what type of business does not have one. She said they are not a business.- Caller: Justin Duval - Allocation Adjustment Services

- BMW replies to MgActually what they told your mother is illegal and against the fair credit reporting act. They by LAW cannot disclose to ANYONE personal information. So right there let's you know that they are not a legit company.
- Frustrated replies to mary| 10 repliesDid anything come from this?
- Elspeth replies to Frustrated| 9 repliesRead what BigA posted on page one, and CWG40 posted in page two - this caller is well known for violation of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA).
- Frustrated replies to Elspeth| 8 repliesAre they a legitimate company though
- CWG40 replies to Frustrated| 7 repliesSo far as anyone can determine, they are NOT a legitimate company. My suspicion is that they are nothing more than a group of white collar crooks working out apartments or rented commercial units. I think they are located in Southern California but I can't prove it. Simply ignore and block the calls.
- Frustrated replies to CWG40| 1 replyHow do they get all our info and call all family members.
- Elspeth replies to FrustratedIt's very easy to find information on anybody these days - there are lots of scammers out there who sell information to anyone for a price. Calling family members is what's known as a "block party" - they call people who know you or may be related in order to pressure you into paying what is likely to be a bogus debt.
- Stella Ramospersons (pests) have been calling my number, asking me to settle a claim/debt that I don't owe. i have asked for information to find out what they are talking about. none available.

- PatricaI got a call yesterday from someone saying that I owe a balance on a payday loan I took out back in 09. They left a message saying to call this number because the next step was to verify my address and my employment. The number he left was a 201 area code number when I called back I spoke with Samantha Gills and she stated that I owed this money and when I told her it was not I who took this loan out, she said it was me and that I had 48 hours to settle the debt unless I would be served and pulled into court. I told her to send me something because it was not me and I hung up. A minute later Amber called back and said that I owed this money and to avoid going to court I should make payment arrangments. I asked her where was she calling from and while I had her on the line I started to google the company. As I was getting information regarding this Allocation Adjustment Sevices I came upon this site with information about them, I'm so glad my third sense kicked in and I didn't give them any more information than what they already had. And the funny thing is when I called them at 201-354-6105 they called me back from 862-269-0791 but when talking to them the callback number they gave me was 973-354-0071. Truly a scam.
Thank you all for sharing your horror stories with this company, you are probably saving someone from getting scammed in a big way. THANKS AGAIN!- Caller: Allocation Adjustment Services

- Kf1231 replies to CWG40| 4 repliesThey told me, they have offices all over the United States. What is more interesting is that they say they do not mail out anything or give out thei mailing address.
- MJG replies to Kf1231| 1 replyIf they mailed anything - and were not legitimate - that would be mail fraud. Postal inspectors would be after them. Callers like this like to hide so they refuse to give their address - as CWG40 stated - probably in someone's house.
- BigA replies to MJGFrom what I can see they have a ton of numbers they are using. There are several other websites with information as well. Unfortunately, one person said they were given a PO Box but never listed the information. Other people claim they were given call back numbers in the 201 and 973 area codes. This might be a little more elaborate than a kitchen table outfit.
- Tygerkat replies to Kf1231Of course they don't mail out anything. They don't have anything to mail out.
- CWG40 replies to Kf1231That's a common answer they give when you ask any of these scammers where they are located. I suspect they are in Southern California, but I can't prove it as of now. No one knows exactly where they are located.
