Got a call from Merchandise Pic this AM about 8:20, this is the third morning call Ihave received.  Annoying to say the least.  Is this a legal company?  Has anyone followed up to see where the merchandise is going.
Stick to Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.

Got a call from 407-854-7180. Caller ID said they were Merchandise Pickup in Orlando, FL. They claim they are a pickup company for the American Red Cross. They are not picking up for the American Red Cross.

I have been receiving this call every other morning at 8 am and also at 5 pm.  They do not leave a message.  I would not call back or even acknowledge it, just block the call.  My theory is this, if they are truly the American Red Cross, they would identify themselves as such.  The American Red Cross is a Federal ran agency, they would not hang up on you. They would be very professional.  They are fishing for your address to come to your house when you are working an probably rob the place.  Be careful!  Just my opinion on this subject.  Besides, if you wanted to donate clothing, you can find several agencies in the phone book.  Same as you would if you were looking to apply for a credit card.  You call them, not the other way around, if they are legit!

This is a charity that picks up clothing and household items.  They call to see if you have anything while they are in the area.  Can't remember if it was for the vets or salvation army but I think it was for the vets.  I am pretty sure that this is the company.

They've called 2x's a day for a week now

I get a call once a day from these clowns. No message and it only rings twice.

I see a pattern here: you pickup and answer the call and they leave no message. I got a call as well the same way. But they asked me for my name. My guess is that they do that to everyone they call. My suspicion is as follows: THEY GAIN THE NUMBER FROM THE PHONE BOOK OR SOME OTHER SOURCE WHERE ITS SHOWS YOUR ADDRESS. THEY CALL TO SEE IF YOU ARE HOME. IF YOU ARE HOME, THEY MOVE ON TO THE NEXT NUMBER. IF YOU NOT HOME, THEY PROBABLY PAY A VISIT TO YOUR  HOME TO ROB YOU. Just one man's opinion.

We've been getting quite a few calls lately. I've picked up a few times, but no one ever speaks. They either hang up or don't say anything and then I hang up. I live in area code 863, and the caller id does not specify an area code for 854-7180. So it makes me think that they are calling from 863. I tried calling it back, but got an error that the call could not be completed as dialed. So I added 407 and got a voicemail telling me to leave my zipcode and phone number to schedule a clothing pickup.

I CALLED THEM!!! Talked to a very pleasant woman and this is a legit org. that also works with the Red Cross. They WILL look into WHY they call so early, hang up, and not leave a message.

407-8547180 Merchandise Pic calls several times a week, mostly in the morning.  Would like to be taken off the list.  They are very annoying!!

Calling here at 8:30 A.M  July 20, had called many times before, I do not pick up but is annoying and wish someone would do something about these calls!

A call comes in every day for weeks now from this number.  We don't answer unknown in-coming calls, and no one ever leaves a message.  I feel as though they are harrassing me.  We have our number on the "do not call list".

Call many times per day and at all times. Never anyone on the phone, just silence.

Received numerous calls from this Orlando phone number.  Caller ID indicates 'Merchadise Pic".  I live about 140 miles from Orlando so am not sure why they are calling.  When they get my answering machine they just hang up.

For Central Florida area, I called: 407-856-4425 to be taken off list (Merchandise Pickup)
(Let them know the calls for 'stuff pick up' were way too frequent.
They were very nice about it and hopefully will remove my phone number from list... time will tell.

whoever has this listing is extremely harrassing.  They call most everyday.  I did have the opt to talk with someone yesterday when they called.  The female asked for Jennifer.  I explained no Jennifer lives at this number.  Her response was that she would take our number off of their call list.  Then at 8 a.m., they woke me up ringing again.  I returned their call to talk with a machine. I did leave a very stern message and also told them just how harrassing they are.  I left our number and told them if they care to discuss this matter, do call us back and we surely will talk about it as we have nothing to donate, nothing owed, and have no clue as to who they are.  I will try the number above with hopes this clears the matter up, so we can get some rest.
