"I have been getting calls at all hours and at times two or three times a day for over one year from your merchandis pick up service. I want this to stop as I donate used clothing to other charities. If this continues I will contact the Florida Consumers office and report you. There is someone here who works nights and these calls are annoying and disturbing. PLEASE STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY. "

This is the message I tried to send the Central Florida American Red Cross.  It would not accept my phone number. I no loger donate to the Red Cross because of these harassing calls. Is it going to help by my submitting this information to this site? I don't have a lot of time to spin my wheels!

Daily calls , usually after dinner time. CID says Merchandise Pic, but no message left, ever.

they call me every day it is driving me up the wall and its some times 2 to 3 times a day from 11-407-854-7180 or 1-407-854-7180 one or the other!!!!!

Several phone calls over period of time.  No message.  Calls not wanted.

Above it was stated that Merchandise Pic is a representative of the American Red Cross, then the American Red Cross is harassing my family.

I just excluded American Red Cross on my 2013 United Way donations and will do so going forward.

Instead of doing that, CONTACT the American Red Cross and tell them about this company and to stop working with the company. Its not Red Cross, it is the company - Merchandise Pickup Services that are doing

They call several times a day it's so annoying.

It has been over two years since these people promised to remove you from their list.  How many times have they called since?

Two consecutive days so far. 930 am and 933 am. I did not answer,they left no msg. Caller id says out of area but the call is local to me. Merchandise pickup for red cross calls here always between breaks of no calls,(I don't answer and  no msg's are left) BUT now the calls say out of area instead of merchandise pickup. I will not be giving any donations to them as a result of this b.s. harrassment!

These people keep calling , no message, who are they?

Called this number and asked for their tax ID.The woman kept me on hold for a few times pretending to look for the Tax ID. Then she asked which company I was calling from and for which company I needed the tax ID for. I told her that if they were collecting clothes and household items that they should be able to provide their tax ID so that I can know if they are for profit or not for profit. Then she asked me for my ZIP code which I refused to give. So I assume that they are a telemarketing company, making calls or various scammers. I told her that I was going to report their company to the IRS and then hung up.

When I told the guy I didn't have time to put things together for a "pick up in your area" he said, " let me have you email address" !!  He didn't ask me for it, he just said it like that!!!  I told him i'm ready to put you on the do not call list,
he said o.k. End of call.  I wont be donating to them ever because of this.  Plenty of other places in need.  Also the out of area number on caller id is a local area code.

We have the machine answer unfamiliar callers and these folks called today. We held back answering and they did not leave a message. I called back twice and was shunted to what I call "forever hold". Researched online and located their real number, 636-282-0000. Company does clothung and small item donation and they call when they are scheduled to be in your area with a truck. Polite young lady on the phone apologized for a message not being left. According to what she told me, charities, like bill collecters, are restricted in what message may be left if they do not reach a live answer and, to be certain of remaining compliant, the leave no message. She said some folks object to having messages left and some object to hang-ups. They just follow the guidelines. I'm a little less miffed about the no message. BTW, political organizations, charities and survey takers (the bane of having phones) are exempt from the do not call restrictions. They only apply to businesses.

I have been getting calls from this name and number for months (which I never pick up).  Finally decided to go on line and check them out.  I'm a bit surprised to note that they may be calling in regard Red Cross pickups as I routinely get e-mails from the Red Cross itself when they are going to be in the area and do occasionally respond and make arrangements for pickup.  If the Red Cross is using Merchandise Pic I would urge them to cease and use other means as it is most annoying.  The next time they call I think I will answer and tell them to remove me from their list.

I have received many calls from this number.  Caller ID says merchandise pic.  I do not pick up the phone if I do not recognize the caller.  This gets to be very annoying as I am very ill.  How do you stop these calls?
