- Crystal (Labrador)Had a phone call from this number last night which indicated that I had won a prepaid trip to Florida. Of course they wanted to know if I had a visa and if I had it with me and then I hung up. I have been trying to do a bit of research on the number and found out that it is a cell phone number based in Orlando, Florida.
- MichelleCalled to say I won a trip to the Bahama's and to call them back if I wanted more information. I have recieved approx 5-6 calls from this number so far this year

- randobPage two of this list gives the website as www.specialttravel.com
I went there, called the reservations number and pressed three digit numbers randomly, 118 will connect you with their customer service mail box. I left them a nice message.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Carrie| 1 replyThese people have called me numerous times with a recording stating i won a trip to Flordia. I have pressed 9 to tell them to remove me from list a couple times. This time the "polite" lady told me not to get my Blood pressure up while she explains i will be removed.... after 30 days from today! If i recieve this call again within the next 30 days DO NOT press 9, otherwise i will be back on the list! This is getting very annoying. Is there anywhere to report these jerks for these bull phone calls???
- PaulReceived a call from that number in Ireland.
They can't do anything about it here as it didn't originate in Ireland.- Call type: Telemarketer
- AccentmonkeyI've had two of these calls in three days, and I live in Ireland! Automated voice telling me I've been randomly selected, etc.
I didn't answer the second time. - Amanda replies to JenWe receive this call at our business in King City Ontario - last week I pressed 9 and pulled a Sienfeld on them - ask them for their home number then when they say no you say something like Oh you don't like to be bothered at home? Me either!
- jbrowmaThese folks are looking for orgs. that have integrated phone systems, where users need to dial "9" to get an outside line.
The reason they tell you to dial a "9" is so they can access that outside line and call anywhere in the world on your dime.
While I'm not sure that this is what they are doing, the "Outside 9" scam is not new- I learned about from my H.S. "Informatics"* teacher in the 70's. He was B.Bobee and he had worked for years for Bell Canada as an investigator and told us lots of tricks that he had detected (all for purely academic reasons or just to deepen our interest in the subject matter-he was a great teacher even on Commodore 64's)
(*-that's what we called computer science at Kenner C.V.I. pre Microsoft,Intel etc.) - Steve Bishop replies to CarrieI have a solution for these calls. When they call, answer the call and press 9 on the phone, and when you get somneone human, tell them they called the county coronors offics for whatever city you live in and that this line is for official business ONLY. They'll stop calling. They don't need that sort of trouble.
- KrisDid not answer this time but I have answered before. I told them that I couldn't accept a trip to florida because law enforcement wouldn't let me leave the country because I was up on charges......hahahahahaha.... telescammers are fun......
- TorontoI have received many no message calls on the machine from this number. Never have talked to anyone. Thanks for sharing that it's a scam.

- OttawaI listened to the message, pressed 9 to tell them to remove me from their call list, they hung up on me, I called back and got a full voicemail box.

- Lee-J| 1 replyMy brother got a call from 407-965-0600 today saying he won a trip to Florida. Because I thought the call was somewhat fishy, I told my brother not to give the stranger any personal info. But he did give his name, address and phone number and also told that person he's using a visa card becuase the caller asked him what credit card he uses.
Can anybody tell me if my brother is been scammed? He didn't give the person any checking acct/credit card information at all. I actually told him to suspend his credit card so it's now restricted. But I am so worried because the stranger ppl have our house address and phone number. PLEASE give me any advice or tell me any possible consequenses!!!!
AGain, my brother gave them only house address, phone number and his name!! Not anything else!!! please help us! - gregtrip to florida...
