People, you might be interested to get a Google Voice phone number. If you don't know what it is then go to YouTube and search for it. One of its features is to block specific numbers (great for all of these kind of unwanted callers). You don't have to be afraid to use that number again.

I have verizon now, but they're asking us for someone we know that has been giving out our number. We just assumed it was because of him.

I just started getting calls from this number today...I have no idea who is calling me or why they are calling.  I don't answer calls from phone numbers that I don't recognize.

I received 2 calls from these jerks, I read that they are from Career Institute. I did register them with the DNC registry. THEY HAVE ANOTHER NUMBER 201-257-4829, I do not have Verizon, AT&T is my provider for my land line.

I just got a call from 410-774-8401.  They asked for Julie - I don't know a Julie.  Told them they had the wrong number.  They said, sorry we will check our records.

For what it's worth, I did NOT do any online surveys and I too am a Verizon customer!!

This number calls and hangs up if I don't answer and calls back again. I still won't answer & they still call.

if you went online and requested information on goverment grands for any kind of schooling the calls begin.  410-774-8401 is a telemarking company that tries to get you to sign up with them for on line collage.  I am sure you are getting other calls also, (University of Pheonix).  This occurs whenever you search or request on line collages, government grants, financial aid.   If you do not want these kinds of calls never ever leave your real number when completing any information on a website.  If you use your email address only then you can at least "junk Mail" the pest.

I googled CI Institute and saw this site with all of its posts.  I've recently been called by career institute 312-878-5578 classes careers 314-627-5523, classes online 917-398-5567, ci learning 312-878-5579, learning institute 314-627-5524, online careers 917-398-5568, online college 312-878-5582, ci college 314-627-5532, and ci institute 917-398-5569.  They must all be robocalls, because they never leave a message and they all apparently come from the same offices (notice the numbers are one digit different).

Said I signed up for on-line classes.  I have a degree and didn't sign up for anything like this

I just recieived a phone call from a company called CI INSTITUTE @ (917) 398-5569, and they asked for me, and when I said it was me, they hung-up on me.  "What's that about"?  Should I be concerned, I'm I being SCAMMED!

Have received calls from 410-774-8401 for some kind of training that I never asked on line for. Now the same people are using  917-398-5569 #. They are a hot house company that finds your info and sells it to colleges and any other training institutions. They had an on line college from southern California call me wanting to take classes to become a teacher. Now they sold my info to some school in New York. You have to watch who gets your info, they say you called them or contacted them to avoid the "NO CALL" list.
