Received a call on my personal cell ~9:06 am Central today, 25 Feb 2014. I rarely answer a number I'm not familiar with.

After reading these posts, I decided to call from my work phone (many lines) and a recording came on that said I would be sent to voice mail. Another recording said, '[***] (female voice) is unavailabe' ... then yet another recording stated the person's mailbox was full.

Sounds like a scam to me!

i agree.  i don't know why some people feel that they have to answer the phone no matter where the call is coming from or answering calls from numbers they don't know.  i never answer unless i recognize the number.  if someone wants to talk to me they can leave a message.  and when i get these bs calls, i look them up and then put them on the reject list so if they call again, the call gets hung up.  that stops it.

call and dont leave message. they are a scam we think or would leave a message.

"wisconsin" on the caller ID.  Looks like the cruise scammers again. All these robo calls are in cahoots with the phone companies.   Goggle   callerID4u.com

Reported 414-232-5011 to the DNC Registry months ago.  The FTC sited them but apparently not fined enough cuz their still calling.

I got a phone call from 414-232-5011. I did NOT answer, as usual! When I don't recognize the AREA CODE. I check the internet. Also, I have Samsung Cell Phone "RECORDER" on my call phone ... just in case!

I have a standing policy NEVER, NEVER answer a call from outside my own area. Yeah, I'm on the Federal "DO NOT CALL" List too.

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  No message was left.

These numbers with this area code was on our local news and they said do not answer. I think they said they are actually coming from Nigeria. They said it was scammers. I am pretty sure this was one of the numbers. Somehow they can make it look like it is coming from USA. I never answer because they said a person could be charged for the call.

Just got this call and have family in Wisconsin.  Called it back and the response was [***].  Could not leave a message

William, your advice to never answer a caller you don't know is the best advice there is. That the rule we follow. Unfortunately over the last 4 years we've received over a 1000 calls from the Card Services scammers and we've never answered a single call. Your advice may work for some scammers, but certainly not for others. If no one answered then maybe the problem would end.

Called on 02/25/2014 @ 11:16 AM from Milwaukee, WI. We ignore all callers we don't recognize. 99.9% of these callers hang up on 4 or fewer rings. Our voicemail is set for 5 rings. No message was left which is what is in our best interest.

This number was on caller Id. I called it back and the voice recording said "Butt Head"

Free cruise call. Told him I get sea sick and asked for his name so I could offer him a free yard care product, (dog doo). He told me no thanks and hung up on me, such nerve.

calls on a regular basis...call back and it goes to message which says "Butt Head" can't take calls and voicemail box is full

Not answering doesn't do a thing. They will still keep calling because it is a computer on auto dial. I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number and they all still keep calling me back over and over.
