- Talk to the hand| 1 replyFirst of all the do not call list is a joke as well as the homeland security when it comes to unwanted calls. Many of these calls i am told are on relay switches which means the calls are bounced from phone number to number in other states like call forwarding and arent traced. Or the next call comes from another number, same company from another state. That is where i think the FCC IS to blame. Why are buying relay phone numbers permitted for these telemarketer to have found the loophole to ignore the alleged law? All of these agencies should be abolished and replaced. The government officials probably get money for campaigns from the telemarketers so laws arent fixed that are written without any punishment and have loopholes the violators find. These calls dont have a real punishment. Remember it takes alot of money for legislators to live as they do and keep their mistresses with all the perks.
- Florida SunshineGot a call with this, undoubtedly spoofed number, and the Caller ID said simply "Wireless Caller". I am tired of people complaining about the National Do Not Call List being useless. Criminals DO NOT CARE about the law!!! There are so many more criminals than there are law enforcement, and there are millions of these scam calls and other crimes that happen every single day. The law only works to get justice when the scum of society are captured and punished, but even threat of punishment or actually suffering punishment does not stop crime. There is easy money in crime or there would be a lot less crime. The scum bags calling only have to be successful a few times in getting some ignorant person to divulge their personal or credit/debit card information. It's like a roulette wheel for the scammers in that sometimes they get an idiot that coughs up the information, and sometimes they get unanswered calls or rebuffed by someone who knows it's a scam. As long as there is ignorance, these scam calls will continue. It's also money for the phone companies and those who make software/devices that block calls, so there's no incentive to try to stop these criminals. Everybody seems to be on the ignorance gravy train! It's best to stay up on the latest scams.
- Caller: Wireless Caller

- Norm| 1 replyJust received a call from this number. The caller hung up without leaving a message. To all those that think just not answering will stop this nonsense, unfortunately that's not true. I receive calls like this one all the time. My call ID indicates they're from all over the country, usually cell phone numbers. From what I understand, these scammers often spoof legitimate numbers to hide their identity. Sadly, there's not much the FCC can do to stop this. Even if they succeed in shutting down one number, these scumbags will just spoof another. It's like playing a high tech game of Whack-A-Mole.
- kfmI agree that you should never answer a phone call if you don't recognize the number, but the best thing to do to make sure you don't get bothered again is to BLOCK THESE NUMBERS from your phone! It's simple to do and I don't know why more people don't do it. If you have a smart phone, you can usually block numbers yourself through your phone settings. If they're calling your landline, you may have to contact your phone service provider on how to block number, but for AT&T phones, just dial *60 and follow the prompts.
- JimAnother number to block.
- TaWandaReceived a call on my landline from this number. Caller ID said "Cell Phone WI" . Went to voice mail but no msg left. I don't answer unknown caller calls. Just another scam call.

- Julian AdamsI report every such call to the FCC. Here's a link: https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action?form_type=1088D
I'm not sure what good it does, but at least I have put their number in front of a regulatory agency. - john nI got one also
Ill block it
I am so tired of these robo calls - LouI did not answer and no voice-mail.
- stacyJust got a call from this number on land line. Caller ID showed 'wireless caller'. No msg left. I NEVER answer those I don't recognize and always check for reports/complaints on web to see what the scam is.
- EstherD replies to NormNot answering may not STOP the calls completely, but it DOES REDUCE the number of them slowly over time. Used to be, when we answered every call, we'd get 2-3 calls a day, and sometimes as many as 6 ot 7. Now that we've stopped answering, it's down to 1-2 a week, and some weeks NONE AT ALL.
- FCCThis number (414-232-5011) contacted an agent of the FCC. I have relayed the information to the proper authorities to prosecute to the full extent of the allow as described by the the Consumer Protection Act. (Individual making the call and the owners responsible for Spam messaging.
- KimbellJust got a call from this number. I am on the no call list, yet, these folks seem to get by calling people who won't take their call anyway. Stop them!!
- Eugene replies to William| 1 replyI wish this were true of the Rod Parsley ministries of Elkhart, Indiana. No answering their robocalls has no effect on the almost daily calls that always happen when I am busy doing something important. If that is supposed to be a Christian ministry, I am greatly deceived.
- FWLJust received a call---! did not answer. thanks for the information!
- Caller: Not Sure
- Ron SheltonI received a call from 414 232-5011 @ 1341 hrs. today. I did not pick up since I did not recognize the number. They didn't leave a voicemail message.
