I have received numerous calls from this number with no one there and when I call back it only rings........after consulting with the local regional police I am advising all rogers customers to contact rogers and settle for nothing less than rogers blocking this number from calling your phone.It appears that this is a rogers generated number and there is a glich in the computer somewhere that they are not correcting because there are hundreds of these calls happening.I called rogers and did some very aggresive complaining and now have this number blocked and free "call screen" for 2 months.If you all do this the problem will be cleared up. You may have to go as far as telling them you are going to change your provider.You are paying for a service which is flawed and it is not your fault.This is a rogers generated number ...so go for it every one and I am sure it will stop very quickly.I did my home work now you do yours.

I live in Richmond Hill and received a call from this number today - just dead air and then disconnected.

This number called me 4 times today w/o leaving a message. I called back and no answer.

received 7 calls from 416-907-0554 today. Let them all go to voicemail, each call left message (dead air).  call blocked that number now.  curious on who it is.

This number has called us for almost 2 weeks now at the same time every day...and then today about 10min ago. I called the cops because it was silence or quiet breathing every time (obviously kind of creepy). The cop sent me to this website...what can we do to stop this from happening again, it's super annoying and really creepy to be honest.

Seems pretty strange if you ask me. Calling our house number in guelph. Is everyone receiving the call have a Rogers home phone/cell phone? Maybe we should be contacting Rogers??!! Just a thought.

I have received several calls from that number. If I answer the phone, they just hang up, if it goes to voice mail, they hang up. In the last week I have received at least 4 calls per day, all at different times.

so creepy, just hear the breathing, and once there is some background noice, which sounds like porn, to be honest, i am so scared

i got this call about 8 times this week. the first seven times I never picked up and they never left a message. Just static air.

So they call around dinner time tonight (7th) and I picked up. It was a muslim man saying he was from Rogers, and if someone with my name was at home. I said whos calling? he said he worked for rogers and asked me what rogers services I was using. I asked him "shouldnt you know that if you work for Rogers....he got nervous and starting bumbling on his words. I told him not to call again, and I told him I didnt think he even worked for Rogers and he was trying to work a scam. Then I hung up.

If you see this number dont answer it because its not legit.

This is only the beginning of problems Ive had with creepy and spooky calls this past year and a half.

Man. I thought okay Ill call Rogers and let them know what has happened to me with these calls.

Their automatic voice system is a joke and ended talking to somone in the High speed dept....who then transfered me to Customer Service, who couldnt speak english....then i tried twice to get connected to their fraud and LP departments and the voice says "welcome to loss prevention, stay on the line all workers are currently busy....then it just hangs up on me automatically.

I dont know whats more annoying these scam calls or the poor customer service from this billion dollar corp.

I get 2-4 calls from this number every day. Phone rings, I answer, caller hangs up. I even try letting it go to voice mail to see if its a v-mail activate telemarketer. Still nothing. Finally tonight, this guy speaks, asks for me and says he's from Rogers and wants to tell me about new offers and bundling discounts, etc. I told him that I am tired of getting crank calls from this number and to please remove me from his call list. He kept asking if there was anything else I wanted and to calm down. I told him that if this number ever appeared on my phone again, I would call the police and have him charged with harrassment. He said he was essentially the police and that he couldn't be charged. This guy is crazy. I called Rogers and let them know that one of the contract agents is harrassing people. Gave them his number too.

I just called Rogers and they made note of this "imposter". Apparently, the scam is to a)try and get your consent to the new promotion which he in turn uses himself or assigns to another Rogers account (not your own)or b) get your credit card number... They suggested that I try to find out more about what the caller wants and then report him to the police who will trace the origin of the number. In the meantime, let all your friends know not to entertain calls from this number or anyone calling from Rogers with a blocked caller ID.
BTW - the customer service rep at Rogers was very helpful and even Googled the number to see what I was talking about (this site, complaints, etc). I did have to stay on hold but he was very pleasant and frequently kept me posted on the status of my call.

halloween night i got the first phone call male voice whispering saying was coming to get me then silence few hours later repeat call just breathing on line. few days later 5 calls from same number this has been off and on now over the weeks last call was just now 530 friday nov 9, looking back at caller id same number started mid oct calling asking if interested in rogers promotions and also knew our name.

Just got a call from this number ..how annoying. If I get calls at 2am like previous people I will call Bell Canada.

Number has called several times and there is dead air. Returned call and it rings and then a busy signal. This is such a pain I wish this number could be located and permanently banned.

Number called twice today. It bought a one-way ticket to my call screen list! :-) Great phone feature everyone should sign up for!
