Hey i am also from 310 bell and i got a costumer with the same problem. call bell and request telemarket block. FREE

have received this call again a few mins. ago, but no one is there,  we have our phone with bell

just received call again.  3 times today.  Called bell and they said that when this # comes up to do *57 and it will be traced.  She said to do every time someone calls from there.

My home phone service through Rogers - they charge for *57

Please see my earlier posts - complain to your local politico naming Rogers - if somehow it isn't Rogers, sure as the day is long, they will at least get their internal security team on it.

they call everyday 3-9 times per day and when you answer there is no one there. I have tried calling back and it says number can not be completed as dialed

apparently *57 is cahrged to your phone bill at $5 per *57. Just to let you know. It's what I was told when dealing with a crank caller

I contacted Bell. THey advised me to go to the Canadian Marketing Association web site http://www.the-cma.org/ and go to the DO NOT CONTACT section on the right side of the page. YOu enter your info and it "May" help stop the calls from telemarketers. I hope this helps some of you and helps myself and our family.

they called at 6:00.
when i picked up, it was silent.

this caller is annoying. i believe this is a marketer.

This number called me today and dead silence so out of curiosity I looked it up and wow....all these calls.
this person clearly needs a hobby . . . or keep a very loud whistle next time you see this caller - esp,. if it's in the middle of the night.

would like to know how I can contact this person- unwanted calls for the last 6 months.

This is in fact a number from Rogers. I am currently on the phone with a Rogers CSR (Customer Service Rep) to report this number. If you are receiving calls from this number, regardless of whether you are on the Do Not Call list, get the person's first name and employee number. Call Rogers at 1-888-Rogers1 and get on the phone with one of their sales reps to report the person. They will notify the person's manager. If you continue to receive calls from this number like my household has, the Rogers CSR has encouraged me to file charges with the police.

This isn't Rogers. I've called Rogers to confirm this and they are investigating (but I don't hold out a lot of hope). I suggest everyone else do them same, until this stops.

I, too, found (416) 907-0554 saved on my phones call display. No message was left. March 5/08, 1:42pm Toronto time.

I get it too, a lot.  Always the silence.  If somebody gets talking to the guy, play dumb and give out what ever info requested, but fake.  I'ld be curious to see if they are fishing for credit card numbers or other identity theft type things.

They've been calling all week, usally get silence on the other end until tonight at 9:33pm! Someone trying to sell something all I let her get out was this is a promotional call, before I told her off for call at such a late hour. There's got to be something that can be done to stop this BS I'm

I have been receiving these calls for near a month from both the 0553 and 0554 numbers. The company is indeed IRISTEL www.iristel.ca  I have no idea what these people actually do as the company does sound quit fishy. You can call this idiot 416-299-4521 who barely speaks proper English and he'll dabble around anything you say about the company and your complaint and not give you his name but will provide you with a so called customer service number to some chick in Romania using a 416 number, who seems to be afraid to give out information or I was being real hard on the phone she could of been scared thinking I was going to Matrix through it into her home as that is where she works from!? Apparently these numbers are all run from VOIP Telephones. The Company itself runs out of Markham Ontario

Apparently a Manager to speak with that Beatrice gave me (Romania) is Michael Gerr and Magot Buchera ? Don’t quote me on the spelling...
I have already sent a complaint to the CRTC and funny the Police have no clue what to do with this, but take information...Like thats going to help, way to use up my tax dollars on nothing!
Call this company folks and rip them apart, hell I might even take an Irate stroll on down there myself if this doesn't stop.
What’s IRIS Tel's response on this, apparently they are aware and cannot give out the information to who is doing this, they know who the numbers are listed too and have had many complaints, they claim to be looking into the matter, numbers you call for they customer service people seem like they are withholding information and afraid to talk !? Not sure what’s going on here or what kind of telecommunication scam this could be. The company is listed through Bell and Rogers and Global and IRIS  Tel to some third party individual who they seem to be protecting from my understanding. I tell you one thing right now, at 6'6" 340 solid these guys are going to need some protecting if this keeps happening.
Log your calls in with your local police and give these numbers a call for these IRIS TEL idiots and let them know the police are aware of the situation.
This is harassment folks ,hit em where it hurts. I have no idea why you call this number 416 299 4521 get some stupid guy in Russia who then gives you a number to Beatrice in Romania 416-848-9804 customer care who sounds like she has a pistol at her head speaking to you scared to tell you information in some basement sewer sitting at a metal desk with one dim light above her head……..
Not sure what weird scamming ring is going on here, hope when you call them they can't trace your number and get your information through Bell or Rogers on your account as they are tapped through them basically cause that would be just nuts, but these days who knows, they are using VOIP phones which are through the internet . VoIP services convert your voice into a digital signal that travels over the Internet. If they are calling your phone number, the signal is converted to a regular telephone signal before it reaches the destination. VoIP can allow you to make a call directly from a computer, a special VoIP phone, or a traditional phone connected to a special adapter. In addition, wireless "hot spots" in locations such as airports, parks, and cafes allow you to connect to the Internet and may enable you to use VoIP service wirelessly. IRIS Tel has subscribed the two numbers calling people to an individual whom they wish not to share information and claim they cannot stop the calls themselves….?? If thet are the provider then this is not making any sense to me…
Give the Markham Office a ring and see where you get… I’ll be headed down there in person soon enough and be back to note my outcome!

Your [***] me right, this better not be some [***] scheme for bell to make money off there telemartketing stop 5$ charge, this is a number sold from your head company not he little call center office your working from sitting at that desk with your headset on waiting for the phone to beep. This number has been subbed out tho through Rogers to GT and then to IRIS TEL who has a  subscriber using the outgoing number VOIP line to harrass people or something... Think you better call your call center supervisor over and request to get Bell on top of this if this is what you claim.
