Got a call from this number yesterday, and was able to stop the calling by requesting to be placed on their Do Not Call list - It worked!  The number I called is 888-556-[removed].

The caller 424-241-1756 sent us a recorded message @18:29, 11/27/2012. about loan modification again, I hung up and returned the call, It allowed me to remove my pone from list. I'll file complaints with : www.donotcall.gov too.

I got a call from (424) 421-1757.  There was no voice message.

THIS IS TRUE -> "Just another form of pathetic lowlife ...attempting to get your number confirmed or start a new sucker list."

What WORKS is --> just hang up immediately.......   That's what I did yesterday--- THAT WORKS everytime....

This is a local number and I don't think I've ever gotten a spam call from the 424 AC. So I picked up the phone. It was the loan modification message mentioned above, but not the MOD DEPT CID  mentioned above. On to my blocked caller list.

Scumbag message left re loan modification 11/27/12.  Has earned a free FCC.gov complaint regarding phone spam.

Just called, but my Google Voice account automatically put it into spam!  Yeah! (they didn't leave a message - so I'm pretty sure it was a spammer)

424-241-1756 called a little after 5pm today I answered the phone heard it was a machine calling about loan modifications services. I put the phone on speaker phone and just let the machine finish its message. It repeated the message 3 times before it finally hung up. Caller ID lists as MOD Dept.

You can get rid of them. I had tried the opt out feature on the MoD website - nonoperational of course, and get calls daily from these people. I read on a blog that numerous complaints caused them to change the practice - at least for MoD calls from this number. If you call the number back, the phone is answered by a message that welcomes you then says to press 1 to be placed on their do not call list. When you press 1, the next thing you hear is that the number you are calling from has been placed on their DNC list and allow 24/48 hours for it to take effect. That is it! The blog said it works - it sure was easy, and I am hoping it will work for me too.

MOD's  need to call DC, they are the ones that print $$$, pass out FREE 'FOO' stamps & FREE wide screen TV's!.

these A$$holes have been calling me for a few days. I was able to answer when they called 2 days ago, and I "greeted" the caller in a fake language. Then I began chanting in the fake language. The caller kept saying hello, hello and then hung up. I haven't gotten a call since then. Make fools out of those callers. They're slimebags that don't deserve to be treated with kindness.

I got a hangup call from this number on Dec. 10 at 6:06 pm.

Got a call from MOD on Sunday Dec. 16, 2012. Left no message. What or who the heck is/are MOD?

Got a call from this number.  ID said MOD Dept.  No message left.  Obviously scammers.

Same bull$hit scam company called me 4 different times Sunday January 20th using a different telephone number...760-655-3022.  Caller I'd read "MOD Dept."

This caller also uses 724-241-1757. So am going to block all calls from 724-241
