intermittent clusters of calls and no one responds - ID reads "Hermosa Beac CA"

I received a call from this number and I could not answer because I was already on an important call.  I called them back ready to read them the riot act for calling my business phone.  I was surprised when I heard the recording at the other end.  It said, "Thank you for calling.  If you wish to be placed on our 'do not call list' press 1".  When I did so, I was thanked (by the recording) and told that it takes 24 to 48 hours to take effect.  If that's the extent of it, then no harm, no fowl.  I hope that the previous commenter "ge" is wrong because if he's right, then I will be flooded with calls....

Got call. Didn't pick up. No message.

I NEVER answer my phone- it all goes to voice mail..  I just got a call from this phone number... but they hung up when the answer machine came on.. but an hour before, got a call (caller ID "MOD DEPT) with a phone #760-655-3026- also didn't leave a message.  All sounds like the same "info"!

Just got another call from these morons.  I agree, maybe it is time to purchase a call-blocking phone.  Maybe I can send them the bill....?

Oh that's a clever idea :-)  If only we could get these scammers to pay for a device to block themselves!! LOL

This number calls me every night. I find this utterly offensive and irritating. Please stop calling.

I just called the number back and got a message to push #1 to be taken off the call list. It says to allow 48 hours for it to take place. I hope it works as I have received two calls a night from this number and it hangs up if you let it go to voice message. I HATE these calls. I am on the DNC list and don't get why there are more and more of these calls coming thru.
I wouldn't call any other number since it's not needed.

02/19/2013 5:57 PM and 02/20/2013 6:31 PM. Caller ID said "MOD DEPT". A recorded message said that I was pre-approved for a home loan modification. I pressed a key to be taken off of their list. Nevertheless, they called again the next day.

This female robot resumed calling this week after a 3-week hiatus, usually about 5 or 6 p.m. PST, so Amerifi Realty aka American Financial Realty and Mortgage Company [Los Angeles 90069] continues to forget to tell Ms. Robot to stop the calls.  And Caller ID always shows "Hermosa Beac CA" although the President and Authorized Agent for Service of Process, Tony Aivazian, lives at 220 N. Broadway # A, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 and presumably knows how to spell Beach.  Hermosa Beach is immediately N of Redondo aka "ReCondo" Beach.

We get frequent to go calls from 424-241-1756, often two or more per hour- shut them down!

I have gotten at least 10 unwanted calls from them

Disturbed me just now at 753pm as I'm watching the Oscars.  I clicked "talk" and then immediately "off".
