Be weary of this company!  I received a call from a Wendy F. on Thursday 8/6/09.  She informed me, that I was going to collections over a TV that I purchased in March of 2007!!  I told her, that there was no way I was going to collections for that TV, because my husband and I paid for it out right.  I had to go to my bank and get my previous statement from two years ago!  When I called and told her that I had the information showing that I paid for the TV in full, she quickly said that the store had cancelled the collection at 8:33 this morning.  I also told her that after speaking with the corporate office of the store, that they said they had not submitted anything to collections for this week.  She had no response to that.  Don't just give out information to anyone, even if they are calling for a collection.  This whole thing was very suspicious, be weary.

Yes it is a collection agency.  This lady Miss Miguel is the rudest person i had to deal with....

i got a call from Wendy F. as well on 11/9/09. her ext. is 212. she left me a voice message claiming it to be of urgent information and needs me to call back. sounded a little tense so i looked up the phone number and stumbled here. won't call back now because of this website, and i much appreciate it! collection agencies are lame.

Received a call for the physician I work for. No explaination as to the nature of the call. Caller was Michael Jones @ x206. Will not pass on this message on. The account they are referring to is a bill from  Medical Financial Specialist that over billed the insurance companies for my Dr. so they could make more money.This got the doctor in a lot of trouble and he's suing the billing company for there deceitful practices.

Received another call from Michael who declined stating where is from (Renton Collections), this bill was disputed and originally was placed with a different agency. Once they were told that the bill was being disputed they cancelled the account with Medical Financial Specialists. FYI to Medical providers NEVER USE THIS BILLING COMPANY, they defrauded the insurance companies by changing the billing charges for more $ then the doctor had charged so they could get a larger amount of money for their services. Now this unethical company has placed the account with a new agency.

Received hang-up call from this number at 10:51 am on 12-24-09.

received a phone call from an "unknown" caller which i did not answer
the phone call was followed by a very rude, almost bitchy, voicemail
voicemail stated "this is Mrs. Burns with RCI and i will be in the office until 5 today. it is VERY important that you contact me." she left a phone number with an extention...
how the hell am i supposed to know what RCI stands for?
if this is a collection agency, they're way off base... i have had all my medical bills covered and paid for for quite some time now...

Received 2 calls from Wendy Frost. She is rude and says she's taking me to court, but doesnt say for what! Why would I call someone like that back?

These people called my cell phone from a blocked number. I spoke with Stephanie. While they refused to give out any information regarding my owed medical bill, they also refused to set up any sort of payment schedule. They now say that they will take the next step and garnish my wages. Were it not for these posts, I wouldn't even know who the collection agency is.

Very unpleasant. Wendy Frost talked down to me like I have commited a crime. Michael yelled at me and threatened me. These people will not negotiate. It is their way or no way. They are mean.

I've also been getting calls from them.  In my case it's simple, since they don't show up on my caller ID.  I don't answer.

Also as a policy, I NEVER call anyone back who doesn't fully identify who they are and what they are calling about.  My phone is MY phone, I control it, they don't.  I'm quite happy to hang up on anyone being rude, or invasive, or evasive.

I'm happy to talk with people who identify who, why, what etc.

I have been receiving calls from Ms. Wendy Frost once a week for a while. Of course, when it is an "unknown" number I do not answer. But EVERY SINGLE TIME she leaves a rude, demanding message. I dont know a Wendy Frost, and I'm not going to call a stranger who  is demanding i call her back TODAY when I have no idea what she wants! Since I have to listen to her ugly voicemails, it ruins a minute of my day, but I will not be treated like that by anyone so that company can bite me. lol.

I wonder if there is a way to report their harassment.....

This company is a joke...have had lots of medical issues and unfortunatly medical bills have went to collections which happens to be Renton Collections...anyway we ended up having to file bankruptcy, after which they are not supposed to call you...they continued to call and argued that I didn't really file...my lawyer called and sent documentation...that worked for a couple weeks but today I got a call from a Mrs. Martinez at ext. 203 that needs me to call her ASAP or she will take further actions...these people are jokes!

Got a call from Wendy Frost (ext 212).  Very RUDE.  Will not call her back.  These people get paid commission when individuals pay this collection agency that is why they are so rude.

RENTON COLLECTIONS IS ONE OF THE FEW COLLECTIONS THAT ARE ON TOP OF THERE GAMES..THINGS GET CONFUSED AT TIMES THEY ARE WORKING FOR THE MEDICAL PROVIDER NOT THE DEBT.PEOPLE THINK JUST CAUSE THEY HAVE INS. THEY HAVE NO RESPONSIBLITY. WRONG!

IF YOU JUST CALL BACK YOU WILL GET YORU ANSWER AND CAN MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE..INSTEAD OF LOOKING AT SITES LIKES THIS.
