- unknown replies to penny| 3 repliesi had this happen to me last year. it is called extorsion. it is a threat to make you pay or else.. if you do not believe these claims or if it is an agency not giving you specific information (legally they have to) go to the police. they can trace the phone calls, messages, ect and stop. also you can call the FCC
- Kirkland Girl replies to over thisThat is who calls me. They are all rude and they basically won't accept my credit agency I am working with. I said you have to accept payments but they said they are a pay in full company and they will continue collections on the account unless it is paid in full. I called her a B(*)& and hung up.
- JAKE replies to joshIf you avoid them it will just cost you more money and stress.PLUS THEY WILL SUE YOU. Your better off just dealing with it. Most the time its the Insurence trying to get out of paying for the bill but collections cant bill insurence.....MY ADVICE IS CALL THEM BACK AND CLEAR IT UP

- krazyhorselover| 1 replySo this Wendy Frost called me from a "restricted" number on my cell phone. Of course I didn't answer it as I answer when it's someone I know. We'll so I call back and she asks me if I'm somone else and I say no that she must of had the wrong number, then she realizes she picked up the wrong phone line and then said my name. I asked her who she was with and she said Renton Collections and that I had a hospital bill that was past due. I asked her which hospital as I've gone to two different once in the past year or so. She said it was st. peters and I explained I had payment arrangements with them and she basically said I was lieing and that I hadn't called them since I was there which is a lie. Then she wanted me to verify my mailing address and I told her that it should be on file, she said that no an old one was on file because they got return mail. I told her I put in a change of address form for the address she had and that she will be notified of the new address through the postal carrier. She didn't like that answer and then asked why I needed to make payments on a bill for $203, I said I didn't owe her an explanation and that I would call the hosptial since their the ones I've been dealing with.
Wont be ever calling them back thats for sure.- Caller: Renton Collection
- MIKE replies to unknown| 2 repliesHahaha. Doesn't work like that. If you had services of any kind, you are responsible period.
- judy replies to krazyhorseloveryou know that the hospital and the dr.'s bill seperate right? so if you have a payment with the hospital it doesnt mean the dr bill is all good.....
- Yaright replies to MR.SMITHLet Ma Guess this person works for the Company in question LAME!
- mikey replies to mike| 2 repliesYou work for the agency and are using scare tactics,,,,,such a liar you are !
- MIKE replies to mikeyYES..i work for the federal way police and still got garned cause i avoided these calls
- IlloneI got a call from Martinez (ext. 203), she hung up on me mid sentence when I was trying to work out a payment plan with her and then when I called back she was like a completely different person. She kept saying that I wasn't the person she was talking to earlier and that she didn't hang up on me (confirming that she did talk to me?) even though I never mentioned anything about her hanging up but instead that we must have been disconnected.
If I was to ever have to use a collections agency this does not sound like someone I would want representing myself or my company.- Caller: Renton Collections

- The Rules| 2 repliesThe idiots that work for that company are going to do and post and say anthing they can to get you to pay. Here is the bottom line. A collection agency "buys" your debt for pennies on the dollar, usually about 10 to 15 cents for every dollar you owe. The original debtor writes off the loss and usually gets a tax credit for it. The collection agency then gets some basic info. The last few to 4 digits of the original acct number and the amount that they bought the debt for. This is the only information they are allowed to get from the orginal creditor, any other info they have is a guess or they are in violation of The Fair Credit Act. Look it up. All the info is here on the internet for you. They can sue you, but they will lose. Here is why. They CAN NOT present the original documents that you signed. They don't know what you bought if you don't tell them. The test is just ask what "procedure" they are trying to collect on. They have no clue, and by law can't. Look it up at the fair credit act. If they can produce the original docs tell them you will pay them in full. See what they say, they will answer I don't have to show you that, but they do. Send them a certified cease and desist letter. That will stop the calls. Tell John, Wendy, and Missssssssssss Martinez I said hi. F those [***], They can do nothing to you but harrass you, do yourself a favor, send the cease and desist and let them sue you. I can't guarantee you they won't sue but it costs them alot of money to sue and if they even think you have a clue what you are doing they won't. Whatever you decide to do, do not use a debt consolidation agency, they are ususally in the tank with these collection [***]. I hate all of you, and hope you all go out of business soon.
- AmandaI got a message this evening from some lady named samantha. Not sure what this is regarding. I'm in good standing with no debts unless my soon to be ex husband has some debt they are trying to settle. I just got this phone turned on and it is in my mothers name so I'm just curious as to how they knew to contact me at this number. i have health insurance and everything has been taken care of so it can't be that.

- Ms Tired of it replies to mikeyYes He is a Liar for sure because he just called here looking for someone who does not live here & never has. Mike refused to state what his nature of the call was, just said a personal matter. Well my phone is mine & I am not anyone"s message service.
MIKE< Your info went to file 13 :D I am not helping you Mike! I owe you nothing! I am not required to help in any way shape or form. Figure out how to get info from somewhere else. I will not be answering to you again & will press charges through the phone company if you keep calling here. - kimmy replies to magree681I also got a very weird call, they said I owed 293.00 to BECU, but I do not owe anyone money! They were also very quick to believe me, and dropped the collection without even checking first...Creditors do not do that!
- Anonym replies to The Rules| 1 replyDo not be a nub. Renton collections can get the itemised statements they just get them from their clients. You are being a total nub. They can even get them for the consumers if they feel like it.
You are being a total nub. - Anonym| 1 replyIn fact your all nubs. I mean like i totally call you up and try to train you nubs but the only thing I have managed to do is make you nubs trained. Cause you can train a nub but then all you have is a trained nub.

- Jody GSomeone keeps calling me from this number asking for my brother who lives in another city. They are extremely rude and "mysterious" when I try to find out who/what they are calling about. They have lied about how they got my private cell number, which is completely un-related to my brother. I will be pursuing this to get them to stop, and to report them to the FDCPA. They are in violation!!
