I previously received a call from this number on my work phone but did not answer.  I am working late tonight and just got a call at 6:13pm.  I went ahead and answered it.  A recording told me to hold on the line etc.....so I waited while I worked.  After about 1.5 minutes a guy comes on the line and says Elizabeth? I said no this is, "company name." He replied, "Elizabeth X" there? I said I wasnt sure and said I could take a message.  He asked if she still worked here, I replied that I was not sure and offered to take a message. He asked that I passed a message for her to call him back at: 1-866-684-3262, he said this was a direct#. I asked what the name of his company was and he said Receivables Performance Management.  The person that once had my current extension hasnt worked in this dept for about 10 years (at least).  I have been in this position and this extension since Aug 2008.  Problem a junk debt co.  I will give her the message tomorrow.

Call at least once a day, sometimes twice. Answer and it's just elevator music - no person, no nothing. No idea how to get them to stop. Halp

They haven't said anything when I answer, I thought it was a scam or prank call. They call 2-3 times a day!

This number has called both mine and my wife's phone asking for Steve. Not sure what to think but something isn't right!!!

this number calling and hanging up. It is invading my house by soliciting and it is absolutely unwanted.

I know no one in Maryland, I don't owe anyone any money, so why am I getting these calls. Five in 3 days..I will report this as harassment if I am not left alone....

Please make these calls stop. They call repeatedly and never leave a message. It is rather annoying.

This number is one of many I get, it becoming a royal pain in the [***].   I never answer them, I only answer calls from people I know.  I get these calls on my landline also my cell everyday and several times a day.  These people need to get a real job and stop trying to scam people.  They try to collect uncollected debts, tell you that the government want to give you a grant free and you don't have to pay it back (really) I had talked to one of these scammers and asked them, what government do they work for because our government doesn't have money to give away, I asked one of the scammers why are you doing this when they know it illegal, his answer was to make money, (UNBELIEVABLE), then they hung up.  For people who don't know, the statue of limitations in Ca. is 4 years for uncollected debt after that they can never collect, that's why they keep calling, to see if you will sent them money, don't ever send them money because once you do that starts the statue of limitation all over again, even if they tell you they will settle for a small portion of it, once you send a payment then they can collect the whole debt.  Read it for yourself, type in your goggle statue of limitation in Ca, and read it for yourself, each state may be different, remember if the statue of limitation is up, never send them money, and even if it isn't let them try to sue first, you can always settle it.  Also if they tell you there the IRS, it's a scam.  The IRS will never call you and ask for money, they will contact you by a formal IRS letter only.  My best advise is answer only number you know, and maybe someday theses scammers will find a real job.....Remember nothing is free, they may tell you that you won something and ask for you SSN or credit card, never, never give that information out.

I get a call from this # everyday around 3pm pacific time. They never leave a message. The one time i called back i told them i was returning a missed call i had gotten an hour prior and wanted to know who it was. She said "Oh , Is this amanda? Let me transfer you to your associate". I got transferred and then i repeated the purpose for my call, and agin she knew exactly who i was. But when she began to explain her reason for the call the line went dead.Tried calling back and it just rang. The next day i got a letter from RPM stating they were trying to collect a debt from 3+ years ago that i had disputed over a year ago and thought i had it closed . Apperently not. Dont like the reviews im reading about these people on BBB either. Might be a scam ?

I have been getting calls for the past two months from this number.  They call 2-3 times per day but leave no number or message. They especially like to call on the weekends. If they don't have the courtesy to leave a message I don't have the courtesy to return their call.

Just called back this number after they been calling he spoke so fast did not hear what it was but they always call my phone asking for some lady they asked for I said nope and they said thank you have a nice day

I receive calls from this number everyday. I picked the phone the first time but no one answer, then I missed some calls but they did not leave any voice message. I wonder if it is possible to denounce this cases in the USA and get this people caught?

would be nice they would enforce laws about this crap. filed complaints and nothing. we can sue but that involves money and time off work. must be nice to harass people and get by with it. ...... we harass them we would loose our house. they harass us nothing anyone will do about it.

Called on landline on 12/11 as 1-443-599-8703 with "ReceivablesPerf" on caller ID. No message left. Same company (ReceivablesPerf) also called on 11/20 and 12/10 from 1-971-238-7461. No messages left. Will report to Do Not Call registry.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
