Sounds like a bill collector for my next door neighbor, and I don't want these calls.

    nothing dramatic
A seemingly pleasant man kept calling the house trying to speak with me and eventually caught me.  I didn't provide any personal info on myself, but was surprised at how much info he was able to find on me thru apparent real estate records. He was up front that it wasn't me he was trying to contact (it was the people who now own the house that I once lived in as a kid). I can see how these guys would be a real problem if you were the one they were chasing down, but since I don't owe anybody any money... I just made it clear that they were chasing the wrong lead. I doubt I'll hear from them again. When I called the number they gave me, the receptionist said they were Windsor Group and that they were a Skip firm.

I got threw dealing with the Windsor Group. They have 3 different departments. Skip trace, private investigations, and legal. They gave me there PI NO# A14647 which I looked up and it is Windsor Investigations in Dallas. I also checked the Texas Supreme Court web site. And they do have certified process servers. And the bar no# they gave me is for an attorney.

Oh my gosh!  A few months ago I wrote that they were legit because Todd Jones told me the same thing and said that if I would do a few things like post that note to make people think he was really an investigator that he would wipe my record clean.  So I did and he lied.  I had sex with him and wrote that post but he still harrassed me and turn me over to one of co workers to harrasse me and try and have sex with me.  I changed my cell phone # and sued the [***].

Todd Jones real name is Greg Brantley and I worked with him.  He is gay but I don't think that he would be asking for sex.  Infact he has sex with the owner Cliff and is very happy with him.  Cliff's wife isn't very happy but thats neither here nor there.  Greg is very good at his job and can find anyone anywhere anytime.  So all you out there who are trying to hide from us are crap out of luck.  We will do whatever it takes to find you.  And we will break every law in the book to get it done.  The law covers up every miss step we make so you will never win.  Texas is the most corrupt place on earth and if you think you wont pay and keep paying than you are sadly mistaken.

If your company were behaving legitmately, there would not be any reason for you log in here and post harassing messages. (It doesn't matter how many times you change your name - it is obvious for whom you work.)

Christa McGinnis and Sarah Daniels keep calling me looking for my daughter and I keep telling them she doesn't live here and I don't know where she lives.  They keep saying I don't believe you, you aren't telling the truth.  How can you get these people to stop calling you when you don't even have any dealing with them or any agency they are dealing with.

They keep calling my home, and went to as much as calling the owner of where I rent.  Asking him all different types of personal questions pertaining to me/my corp., he responded that he didn't know anything, but would relay the message.  When in actuallity they are not even looking for me, but for someone I knew sometime back, and I don't have any information on this person.

This is if they are collecting a debt. Most the time if you get a call like this is to answer the phone and talk to them- you may have been used as a way of contact by someone you know or a family member and in most cases your friend or family gave them your info -so be mad at them not the ones trying to help them out. People need to grow up and handle their business and stop trying to get out of it - if you have a bill pay it or work it out and some cases do turn legal and you can have a judgment put against you and your property if it goes that far - if they are looking for someone else give them the info if you don't want to be bothered cause your friend or family member was quick to put your name down when they wanted something - and as far as law suits look up any big company and you will see hundreds with cases cause everyone thinks the answer to life is sue- I have dealt with this company myself and others like it in past - do the right thing and you have nothing to worry about

Look up case law section 32.33 Penal Code. You could be in fact lookin at a felony under the law itself, and if you're trying to avoid your debts or loans grow up be an adult and handle your business. So tired of whiny people that want to blame everyone but themselves for their problems deal with it.

Mike 77, are you an idiot too to jump on a bandwagon cause someone else said something? Grow up—handle your business too—and for anyone that thinks they can hide from people forever, you're mistaken. You can for awhile, but you will slip up and you will be found—and do you know how easy it is to bust a cell number even a prepaid takes all of 2 mins—and if you sued Mike, what is that case number so it can be verified? Put up or shut up—and the gay str8 thing doesn't matter one way or other. We all are grown and all need to act that way.

You're a mom, you know how to reach your kid - stop telling the lies and tell your daughter to do what's right and handle things so you don't get called -- she gave them your info - now you need to teach her to do right or you didn't do your job as a parent

I get calls about the owner of the neighboring condo unit. She no longer lives there but still owns the unit and has been behind on her mortgage a number of times. Since it's a condo complex, the street number is the same but the unit number is different. Once the owner skipped town without leaving a forwarding number, the "investigators" just did an online directory lookup to find neighbors' phone numbers and then sprayed them with phone calls. I have NEVER been a reference or contact for her, but for a business trying to recover money, this approach clearly pays off frequently enough for them to keep trying it. (The irony is, if they were more straightforward and less harassing - possibly offered a reward - I'd be happy to pass along the woman's contact info.)

Problem is, I work from a home office and don't want to be interrupted by their calls. My voicemail message clearly identifies me, so there's no excuse for them to keep calling looking for someone else. Now that I have VoIP (internet phone service, like Vonage), I just go online and block all calls from their number each time a new one of these bottom-dwellers comes around.
