- dontfall4it replies to ADAMMost people got in trouble with outrageous interest charges 25% and higher charged by scum bags. Most people again would be happy to pay off principal but NOT interest which has accumulated to 20x the original loan. How many ways can you say LEACHES-charging over 12% should be against the law. The mafia charged 18% and they called that usury. These scum bags charge much more than that and get away with it because they have the politicians in their pocket.
- Jj replies to rebecca| 6 repliesMy 16 year old son has been left 4 messages 2 from this number and 2 from 214-647-3580(this number also has complaints online ) He does not own a car or anything else through a lender.
- Employee replies to Jj| 5 repliesHe might have been listed as a reference and they are trying to contact him regarding someone else's updated information.
I am not one of the skip tracers, but I do work for the Windsor Group. If you would just cooperate, they might not be so difficult with you. Sometimes, the database searches used pull old information. So if you are being called and do not know anyone they are referencing, just call them back and let them know. Greg Brantley is a licensed Private Investigator at our company and if you do not want to talk to someone that has previously been rude, he handles himself very professionally.
Also, we are not a "collection agecy". We do not collect anything and do not want your bank account or credit card information. All payments go directly to our clients and are received by are by Western Union or Money Gram.
For those of you who are debtors, if you wouldn't have defaulted on your loan, Windsor wouldn't be contacting you in the first place. We do not get files in our office until the client can no longer make contact with you. It isn't our fault you can't make your payments. - No One Special replies to LbThis is not an investigations company...they have no legal rights to your personal information....it is a repo company
Check http://www.txdps.state.tx.us and you will see there are only five investigators three current and one big shot process server that thinks he can scare you. These auto loan companies do not use private process servers for repo efforts.
Let's shut them down they have past criminals as employees and some have credit theft against them... make them prove who they are and what they can do legally... there is nothing that can be done even if they threaten legal against you...that decision is the auto finance company that can only file a replevin and that has to be in your hand by the constable of that county but if the replevin is not handed directly to you or whom other persons on that loan in order to be effective. - Anon| 1 replyDirect phone: 214-864-6096 Ask for Jamila Camp.

- marimarI received a call today...Sean Patrick looking for a friend, he is to call back at any time today (even late evening) since the number given in a cell phone number. He said, "Sean Patrick", Private Investigator.
If the bank is looking for payment, why just don't call themselves or have the debt collector identify themselves? I know some people hide...but they don't fool us either. But who knows...they might fool more people than we think. My friend is calling the bank directly...she was a cosigner for a loan. - whatever debt collectors are sleezeballs replies to EmployeeI dont have any debt at all. Yet, I keep getting harassment calls by windsor group for a person I dont even know. I have insisted on several occasions for them to stop calling me but they keep it up. Last night was no exception and I received a call from some idiot from windor. I am considering contacting an attorney to find out what my rights are because I just want to be left in peace. I am paying for my phone service for my personal use not to be contacted and harassed by intrusive people trying to find leads so they can get a commission on collecting a debt. What part of 'nobody by that name lives here you have the wrong number' do you collectors not understand? Get your information straight before contacting innocent people. Sheesh. You are all morons.
- fed up replies to EmployeeYou are correct that you were hired to do a job, however you and your company are bound by laws as well. Windsor Company choses to do business outside of those laws when its employees threaten to have people picked up (can we say kidnapping) and continue to harrass people by phone when you have been notified to stop calling. You know as well as I do that your company is not playing by the rules and eventually your company will be shut down. The Attorney General and FTC have already been contacted. The more people that file complaints the quicker your company will be no more.
- jennifer replies to EmployeeI am not one of those people, but your company is calling me for an old neighbor who never used me as a ref. She was nosing around and put in addresses that were close to his and got my number. I am not him nor do I keep in contact with an 67 year old man who takes care of the neighborhood children.

- dont play replies to ec| 5 repliesthe debt collector can arrest you but they can MOST difinatly referr to their client to file legal against you... so dont think this just goes on your credit,,,, its called replevin
In creditors' rights law, replevin, sometimes known as "claim and delivery," is a legal remedy for a person to recover goods unlawfully withheld from his or her possession, by means of a special form of legal process in which a court may require a defendant to return specific goods to the plaintiff at the outset of the action (i.e. before judgment). In other situations, a party seeking relief may elect to adjudicate the right to possession prior to obtaining immediate relief to obtain the property in question. In such cases, replevin actions are still designed to afford the petitioning party a relatively speedy process for obtaining judgment, as compared to typical lawsuits. The summary remedy afforded by replevin statutes can be thwarted by defendants who contest the claimant's right to possession, by contesting the plaintiff's complaint, and insisting on traditional litigation involving discovery, and in some cases, trial by jury. - the real ms camp replies to AnonI guess I pissed someone off because at windsor the employees use alias names and this is my real name. i would stoop to their level and post all the employee names and info but because Im better than that i will only advise that i havent worked for this company in over a year and i never used my given name and my number was never used while at this company. call windsor direct at 469-484-5750. or write them at Windsor Group

Dallas Texas 75231 - eyespy replies to adamsounds like you work for them. If you were getting their calls, you'd be singing a different tune. They called me, ran down a list of names I never heard of, I hung up, and they called right back ....3 times. Thats harassment. I dont owe any body any thing. Im not who they are looking for, why should I have to put up with these morons calling me? Now I let the answering machine deal with them.
- Akaye replies to EmployeeYour investigators need to realize that it is against the law to call someone elses home and leave derogatory information about a person on an ansering machine. Especially if you are not sure of who's number you called and if that person even lives at that address. For all of you that do not know there is nothing criminal in a repo situation. It IS A CIVIL matter and only becomes criminal if you are served by the Sherriff with a reprival or what is called a Writ of Reposession. So all the crap about filing criminal charges is BS. And please do me a favor...... dont call my house with other peoples personal information, because if I find the people you are looking for I am sure that they would love to know that you broke the law by giving out personal information to an answering machine.
- Expert in LouisianaLet me just say I have been in lending for over 35 yr and my experience tells me these people are nothing more than a shady collection agency. I do not owe anyone nor have I defaulted on any debt but I continue to get calls for someone I don't know. There are laws that strictly prohibit this type of "collection activity". Next stop will be to report them to the attorney generals office as well as FCC as by continuing to make calls after being asked not to is a violation of FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS laws and they will prosecute!

- RobertM| 1 replyIf you'll would just check in to some things. You'd see what people can and can't do. A replevin order is a court order stating the collaterial must be surrendered back to the bank that is the lien holder. Alot of states issue a replevin order with a body attachment. This is a civil warrant of arrest. Many state have criminal laws concerning this. TX 32.33. FL 818.01. CA 504A. GA 16.9-51. MD 342.0. SC 16134C. AR 5-37-203. MS 11-5-75. And on and on. Look these penal codes up. This is considered LARCENY. Get your fact straight before calling people debt collectors. We are not. We do not collect a dime from anyone. We do the legal servicing. We have private investigators, process servers, and paralegals that work with attorneys all across the US.
