How do I report this to the Government?  Is there a number I can call?  I'm so upset.

I know one of the do not call.gov registries suggestions are to hang up immediately but I advise the caller I am on that list and they should be consulting that list.  I then politely advise them  (now that they have been advised) that I am within my rights to invoice them for "using my phone for advertising purposes" and will do so.  Thank you.  And the caller usually responds positively...and I close with a polite follow up comment letting the caller know that I mean it and will follow through.  Usually the caller has a responsible type response.  But this number today called and he had a Spanish accent.  Told him I was on a cell phone and to repeat something...he "hung up".   Sometimes if I have a phone with a hold feature I will sound very interested and ask them to hold while  I change phones and /or get pen and paper for details.  I will put them on hold and go about my business while occasionally checking the hold indicator.  Can last up to 5 min sometimes.  I have now taken up their time and prevented several calls to others.

Woman called...could hardly understand her as the accent was so bad...said she was from Southwest Airlines...then, she said she wanted to invite me to an open house...I asked what open house was Southwest having? She said NOT Southwest...SOUTHERN JOURNEYS...got upset and hung up.

They just called me at 9:30 pm. Lady I could hardly understand her English Becayse of her accent. Inviting me to some event in dallas grand opening

Just another f-in scam.

Just got a call from them they are in the middle east working for "Southern Journey" saying they opened up a new location and just by showing up a get a free round trip. Spoke to a supervisor to take me off their call list and this is what he told me "That is not my job there is nothing I can do." Like hell you can't! He then hung up on me.

Just got the same call. Caller said it was United Airlines, who had opened a res center here in Tulsa and was offering 2 free tickets if I attended their "grand opening". On further questioning he said it was a company called "Southern Journeys".   I told him I wasn't interested.  Clearly either a scam or a really bad telemarketing scheme.

Lady sounded like she had a dick in her mouth.  Tried to get me to attend some grand opening.  Told her to [***], remove me from the calling list and crawl back into whatever depths of hell she came from.

Will call frequently and you cannot call back. Block or disregard this phone number

Got the same one....let it go to voice mail and she intro'd herself as being from SOUTHWEST AIRLINES and then kept saying in her foreign accent "hello" several times and must have then realized it was my voice mail and hung up. I, too, am on that INEFFECTIVE list "DO NOT CALL"...it's a joke...

The DNC isn't a call blocker and can not protect you from the illegal callers, extortion scammers, foreign country's and frauds. Criminals do not obey laws simply said.    They use spoofed numbers which make it hard to track them down.. it takes time to do this and many subpoenas for call records.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Received call around 9pm on a week night, foreign accent, maybe Indian woman, saying they were with the New Southwest Airlines Reservation center located in Richardson Tx and wanted to invite me to the grand opening to see what they have to offer.  Handed call of to a "supervisor" almost immediately upon reciting her lines.  The supervisor's spiel was a little different, 90 minutes of my time, reservation center, would get a free plain ticket good for one year, yada yada yada.  Looked up Southwest Airlines Richardson Reservation Center and found these notes for the scam caller and timeshare.  Blocked call from my phone.

This number called me. I knew it was going to be some kind of scam and I have alot of free time, so I decided to waste as much of their time as possible. The lady, who spoke about as much English as a dirty pair of underwear, claims to be a representative from SW Airlines and says that my phone number has been selected to receive 2 free round trip airline tickets valid for a full year. She then said that it was her first day on the job and transferred me to her "floor manager" who spoke an equal amount of English. He then asked if the lady explained everything and I told him no to waste more of his time. He claimed to be from a completely different company that is offering these 2 free vouchers for their Grand Opening. I proceeded to go on a long drawn out conversation about my life and how I really can't be travelling because I'm divorced and stuff like that (none of which is true). He ended up getting frustrated and hung up. Before he said goodbye, I threatened to kill him if he ever called me again.

Call came in round 12:30 p.m. did not know number did not answer left no messages on do not call list make them STOP

Same conversation regarding 2 free round trip tickets from SW Airlines you would only need to attend a meeting also the so called promotion is only good for couples after they found I'm single they kept asking to bring along soneone ....SPAM!!!

Block caller..I'm also on the no call list.

this number keeps calling me numerous times a week.  When try to call it back it states call cannot be completed.  They do not leave a message it is very harrassing.

The female with a foreign accent identified the company as from United Airlines and has a free gift for me. When asked what company she worked for, she stated Southern Journeys. I have asked repetadley to be removed from their call list. Is there something that can be done about this? I am on all DNC lists.

I wasted 4 minutes of this idiot's time before pointing out to him that the "new" Southwest Airlines Reservation Center in Oklahoma City is the same one that's been here for at least 20 years, that I WORK THERE, and that he is a moron for not doing the simplest of basic research before running a scam. He started yelling into the phone before hanging up.
